Leanna Lenee was nineteen years old when she met Travis Hunter. In a YouTube video, the NFL player recalled that he had approached Leanna on Instagram. However, she took her sweet time responding to his DM. After replying to Travis two months later, Leanna said that she just wanted to be friends with him. They texted each other consistently for two more months. But things took a magical turn when Travis and Leanna went to her friend's birthday dinner. And as they say, the rest is history. 

Leanna and Travis have always expressed their gratitude to the Universe for helping them meet. The former took to her Facebook handle in 2023 and wrote that she met Travis at a time when she would constantly pray to God to give her motivation to continue. Leanna penned down:

Leanna Lenne divulged in a 2022 YouTube video that her godfather used to coach the Green Bay Packers, and she also loves the team. Hence, Leanna wanted Travis to be drafted by the Green Bay Packers. However, she also mentioned that she wanted Travis to be drafted by any team, but if he were drafted by a team she disliked, it would be hard for her to cheer for him. Two videos of Leanna surfaced on X, leading to her being trolled by Travis's fans. In one video she was seen getting impatient as the NFL player met his fans. In another video, when Travis was announced as the Heisman winner, Colorado Buffaloes head coach, Deion Sanders was seen telling Leanna to stand up for her beau when he was called up. However, Travis defended his then fiancee, and shared on Twitch: 

"I know what I got. I know my girl. My girl's been with me for five years. Y'all are just now starting to talk about me and just now starting to be with me. Come on, man. Y'all hate on me and then y’all go hate on my girl. I feel the same pain that she feel. We're inseparable, we’re with each other. If she hurting, of course I'm going to be hurting."
