Meet Shilpa Shirodkar's Daughter, Anoushka Ranjit, Budding Lawyer, Co-Founded A Company At 22

Shilpa Shirodkar was a prominent figure in Hindi cinema in the early 1990s. The gorgeous actress made her Bollywood debut in 1989 with Ramesh Sippy’s film, Bhrashtachar. Younger sister of Namrata Shirodkar, Shilpa has not only worked in the Hindi film industry but has also featured in Tamil and Telugu films. Apart from making a name for herself in the film industry, Shilpa also worked in the television industry.

After a brief stint, Shilpa quit acting in 2000 when she got married to a UK-based banker, Aparesh Ranjit. After a 13-year gap, she made her comeback in 2013 with Zee TV’s show Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. In 2024, Shilpa participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss 18 and garnered attention for portraying her honest self on national television.

Anoushka Ranjit is a budding lawyer

Born in the UK, Anoushka pursued her high school diploma at the prestigious North London Collegiate School Dubai. During her high school, Anoushka pursued a Global Leadership Summer Course in Politics and International Relations at Oxford Royale.

In 2021, Anoushka enrolled herself in a Master’s programme and pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews. The young celebrity kid is reportedly pursuing a law degree from the University of Law in London.

Anoushka Ranjit has co-founded a company

Anoushka has been involved in several initiatives at the University of St Andrews. She worked as a legal intern at the Greenko Group in Hyderabad and also as an Operations Team Member intern at the VFS Global in Dubai. Not only this, but at the mere age of 22, Anoushka showcased her business acumen by co-founding Pulse Creative Collective.

The student-run company hosts numerous events, including radio shows and other creative initiatives. Despite hailing from a family of superstars like Namrata Shirodkar, Shilpa Shirodkar and Mahesh Babu, Anoushka has shown no interest in joining the entertainment world.

Anoushka Ranjit is a fashionista

Anoushka Ranjit is also hailed for her social media presence and her stunning looks. The young celeb kid reminds the audience of her mother’s younger days. Anoushka, who shares a great bond with her aunt, Namrata Shirodkar, posts pictures with her cousins, Sitara and Gautam Ghattamaneni. Anushka, who can give any actress a run for their money, is also a travel enthusiast, and her social media is proof of the same.

Shilpa Shirodkar revealed she was a 10th fail

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Shilpa Shirodkar discussed various aspects of her life. The actress revealed that she never regretted leaving acting. In the same conversation, Shilpa talked about her education and stated that she is a 10th fail, while her husband holds a double MBA. In her words:

“I am a 10th fail. My husband is a banker. He is a double MBA and he is very well read and very different. I can talk to him and his colleagues about everything and the life that I have seen with him, I never felt small in front of him. At that time, it wasn’t the space when women would get rules after marriage, so I don’t think anybody reached out to me, and I wasn’t such a big star also. I don’t think I was so popular that people wanted me to come back. People were also happy ki gayi toh gayi there are many others."
