Marcela Mistral is a Mexican TV show host and fashion blogger who became the co-host of Poncho en Domingo on Multimedios in 2015. She was previously a host at Televisa. Before fame, she studied at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon and earned a degree in social work. Marcela also dabbled in music, releasing her first album, Basta, in 2017.

Poncho de Nigris, born Alfonso de Nigris Guajardo, is a Mexican television and internet personality. He has hosted several shows over the years. He hosted Monterrey-based regional network, Multimedios Televisión (Canal 6). He studied at the Universidad Regiomontana. He was born on March 3, 1976, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He has two brothers, Antonio de Nigris and Aldo de Nigris, former football players. 

Poncho de Nigris rose to fame with the second season of Big Brother Mexico in 2003, where he emerged third. He later appeared as a contestant in the 2011 cycle of Multimedios's dating competition, Mitad y Mitad, involving a season-long process of finding him a partner. He even hosted Pura Gente Bien on the sister channel, Altavision. He returned to television in February 2015 with the premiere of Poncho en Domingo on Multimedios, where he was paired with co-host, Marcela Mistral.

He began by thanking everyone for giving his extremely important moment space, then turned to his then-GF and shared that the past six months he had spent with her meant a lot to him. He further added:

"You’ve made me very happy, you’ve made me a better man and a better person, a better human being. I’d like for this not to end here. I don’t want this to just end in courtship, which maybe people won’t know. I want it to continue all our lives and I hope that Jesus Christ will always watch over us with his love. And the only thing I’ve come to tell you at the news station, in this moment that was made for you … I’ve come to propose we start a life together and that you always be by my side during this life -- that you’ll be my wife."

The couple first tied the knot on November 23, 2015. They celebrated their 10-year milestone in late 2025 by renewing their vows, marking a new beginning of their relationship. Mistral and Nirgis have often shared glimpses of their personal life on social media. They soon expanded their family with the birth of their son, Alfonso, in July 2016. Mistral and Nirgis welcomed their second child, a beautiful baby girl named Isabella, in September 2018.
