In September 2025, Karishma met with an unfortunate accident while travelling by Mumbai's lifeline, the local trains. On her way to a shoot in Churchgate, she jumped off a moving train after noticing her friends couldn't board, and in the process, suffered injuries to her head, back, and body. She was admitted to a hospital and kept under observation. Doctors advised an MRI to rule out any serious injuries. While shaken, Karishma has been recovering well and receiving prayers and support from fans and the industry alike.
