Every professional wrestling fan has been mourning the demise of iconic wrestler, Hulk Hogan since July 24, 2025, who died at the age of 71. As someone who gained fame for his electrifying presence in the ring and larger-than-life persona, Hulk's passing has left a major void in the hearts of his fans. While tributes poured in for the legend, it also brought renewed attention to his complicated relationship with his daughter, Brooke Hogan. However, days after his death, new news reports revealed how, despite their complex bond, Brooke still carries deep emotional roots with her father.

Who is Hulk Hogan's estranged daughter, Brooke Hogan? 

Brooke Hogan, a.k.a Brooke Ellen Bollea, has been a familiar name in the spotlight. She is a singer, reality TV star, and former wrestling personality who became a household name after her stint in the VH1 reality series, Hogan Knows Best with her father from 2005 to 2007. The show was centered around the bond between an overprotective wrestling legend and his then-teenage daughter, who was trying to launch her pop career. She later spun off into her series, Brooke Knows Best, which gave insight into her journey as a young woman carving her path outside the shadow of her famous family.

Apart from reality TV, Brooke also made her career in music with moderate success. She made her debut with the album, Undiscovered in 2006, which featured the hit single, About Us. The song soon made a place in the Billboard Hot 100. Brooke followed it up with The Redemption after three years, which solidified her position as an independent artist. Apart from music, she followed in her father's footsteps to make a mark in the wrestling world. She had featured in WWE and joined TNA Wrestling in 2012 as an on-screen personality for the Knockouts Division. 

Brooke Hogan had an estranged bond with her father, Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan and Brooke worked together as father-daughter in the public eye during the early 2000s, but behind-the-scenes their relationship deteriorated, especially after his divorce from her mother, Linda in 2007. According to multiple reports in March 2025, Brooke had been estranged from both of her parents for several years. The divide became even more visible when Brooke did not attend her father's third wedding to Sky Daily in 2023, nor did she inform her family about her wedding or the birth of her children. While Brooke, who always wanted a normal family, shared a note on Instagram explaining why she made the decision and penned:

"I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents. No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother. This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me my entire life."

According to a news report by TMZ, just two weeks before Hulk Hogan married Sky Daily in 2023, Brooke had her last call with her father. She reportedly told her dad she loved him and gently urged him to slow down due to his declining health. Although their relationship remained strained, it gave a final closure to Brooke. She later tied the knot with ice hockey defenseman, Steven Oleksy without informing her parents. Her brother, Nick, told her about the passing of their dad via a message to her husband. As per a new report by the same platform, Brooke, who welcomed twins in January 2025, had named one of them in honor of her father as Molly Gene Oleksy, using Hulk's a.k.a Terry Gene Bollea's middle name as a tribute.
