Whitney, in the first season of Mormon Wives, shared that Conner was on Tinder and had inappropriate conversations with other women. They had moved to Hawaii to kind of save their relationship. Whitney wanted to save the relationship and shared:

"I remember being in therapy and my therapist asked me, ‘Before we even dive into this, you need to decide is this something you want to work out or something you don’t want to work out? I never had taken a step back and thought that for myself because in Mormon culture, it’s like, ‘No divorce.’'

Whitney Leavitt's husband had confessed in an interview with Parade that he had to get help from his therapist as he was trying to figure out what he was doing wrong. He had earlier shared that he was honest and ra*** as a boy with Whitney, and that emotion made sense to him as raw and honest. Whitney had already shared that Conner had been through something that tough, which made their relationship very strong.

Whitney Laeavitt and Conner's love story is interesting. Both of them met on a double date, having agreed to be wingmen for their friends. When their friends hit it off during the date, according to a report by The Vulture, it was a jackpot for Whitney and Conner. Both of them married in 2016 at the Mormon temple in Provo, Utah.

However, according to a People report, Whitney and Conner had a connection before they met. She was once on a Mormon mission back in Georgia, where she had come close to the family of Conner. She said it was a coincidence and called it cool.

Whitney had shared that after the birth of Billy, her family was fully complete and shared being the happiest. In the case of Billy, the pair did not find the gender of the child, as they had done when Sedona and Liam were born. This was because the pair wanted gender neutrality and wanted to name their children after meeting them, but with Billy, they fell in love with the name immediately — even before meeting him.

According to a Vulture report, Whitney and Leavitt decided to move to Hawaii in 2022. This was because the couple had faced personal issues in their marriage after she had discovered his profile on the dating app, Tinder. Conner had also shared that he was working on himself, and after two months, the pair reportedly then came back to Utah.

It was in April 2025 when Whitney Laeavitt and Conner revealed to the world that they were purchasing their first home together.
