Derrick Rose is one of the most beloved and respected players in NBA history. He began his career after being drafted by his hometown, the Chicago Bulls, in the 2008 NBA draft. Prior to this, Derrick had one year of experience playing for the Memphis Tigers during his college years. Within a year of being drafted, Derrick was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2009, and in 2011, he successfully became the youngest player to win the NBA Most Valuable Player Award. Alaina Anderson has been linked to Derrick Rose since 2016 

While we do not know for sure when Derrick Rose and his now-wife, Alaina Anderson, started dating, the latter was first linked to the NBA star in 2016. According to reports, she posted Derrick on her IG grid for the first time in October 2016. This was shortly before Derrick started playing for the New York Knicks. In the adorable boomerang posted by Alaina, D-Rose can be seen dancing on what appears to be the pier in Malibu, California. If we believe that Alaina and Derrick were together since the time of her post, Derrick has gone on to play for a number of other teams, like the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Detroit Pistons, and, of course, the Knicks.

Nearly two years after Alaina Anderson and Derrick were first linked to each other, the couple welcomed their first child together. It was on March 4, 2018, that Alaina gave birth to their daughter, Layla Malibu Rose. Following this, they celebrated the birth of their second child, a son named London Marley, just a year later, on May 26, 2019.

However, it is worth mentioning that apart from his two children with Alaina, the former pro basketball player is also a father to his son, PJ, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Mieka Reese. According to reports, PJ, similar to his father, has a passion for basketball. To top it off, he has also taken up modelling from a young age. "PJ has a love for modelling along with a huge and spunky personality. When in front of the camera, he is poised and focused. It's crazy because it isn't his mom pushing PJ, it's PJ pushing himself to model."

Alaina Anderson got engaged to Derrick Rose in 2021 

According to reports, Derrick Rose got down on one knee for his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Alaina, at Madison Square Garden over a romantic dinner. Apparently, Alaina had no idea that she was about to be proposed to and thought that Derrick was taking her to a Knick's team party. Later, Derrick gave a glimpse of the cute proposal to his followers as he posted the photos of Alaina's ring as well as the intimate setup on the Knicks court. Calling her “my ace”, he shared the news, writing: 

"I didn't know how you were going to perceive me. But this entire time I was hoping that you would believe me. Believe the words that I will have your back and love u forever. When I FIRST saw you I told Ryan that we were gon be together. It took both of us a while to let down our guards. That's only becuz both of our hearts were scarred. We are two peas in a pod because we are truly misunderstood."

Alaina Anderson is the owner of an activewear brand  

Derrick Rose's wife, Alaina Anderson, is the owner of an activewear company. Called Keep It Cute Fitness, she launched the brand in the summer of 2019. Her brand is best known for its matching fitness sets, which usually include a sports bra, top or sweatshirt, and leggings. However, some of the items, like the bras and leggings, are also sold as individual items. In addition to clothing, her brand, KIC, offers several fitness-related items, including resistance bands, code sliders, weighted ankle straps, and waist trainers, according to People.  

Alaina Anderson got married to Derrick Rose at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California  

After years of dating, Alaina Anderson and Derrick Rose officially tied the knot at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel in California on September 7, 2023. Their dreamy ceremony took place outdoors and featured thousands of white roses. The most interesting thing about the duo's wedding was that it was officiated by none other than Joakim Noah, whom Derrick Rose played alongside for 8 years on the Chicago Bulls, from 2008 to 2016.

Coming to the bride's wedding dress, Alaina looked stunning in a custom Galia Lahav gown. Sharing the pictures from her big day on her Instagram account, which has more than 489k followers, Alaina captioned the post, “The Roses,” followed by the emoji of a rose.
