Bill Belichick is one of the most renowned coaches in American football. His coaching career began way back in 1975, when he signed on as an assistant to the Baltimore Colts head coach, Ted Marchibroda. In 1979, Bill bagged the position of defensive assistant and special teams coach for the New York Giants. Here, he worked alongside head coach, Ray Perkins for 12 long years. Following this, he became the Cleveland Browns' head coach in 1991 and remained in that role until 1995. After brief coaching stints with the New England Patriots (1996) and the New York Jets (1997-1999), Bill returned to coach the Patriots in 2000 and remained there for over two decades.  

After leaving the NFL in 2024, Bill Belichick is currently the head football coach at the University of North Carolina. It is worth noting that while he was still coaching in the NFL, he had seen 333 career wins and eight Super Bowl victories. This is why, despite having a long list of achievements, when news broke that Bill Belichick isn't getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame without buying a ticket, everyone in the NFL world was highly shocked. With his professional front in the headlines, many have started to wonder about the 73-year-old's private life. According to a November 2019 Instagram post by Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, she attended cosmetology school. Apparently, while she was still in high school, she enrolled at the New England Hair Academy, commuting daily while balancing her studies. Even after Jordan graduated from high school and started attending college, she did not miss any classes at cosmetology school. She would often participate in cheerleading practice at night while working on her degree online. Finally, she graduated in November 2019. While looking back on her journey, Jordan wrote on IG:

“After many trials, tribulations, countless sacrifices and a few last-minute trips to Texas, I have found myself to the end of this incredible year of growth.”

For college, Jordon Hudson went to Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Being a cheerleader here, according to a report by People, in 2021, Jordon and her team became NCA Collegiate Champions. Even after graduating, she decided to continue her cheerleading career by joining the East Celebrity Elite Cheer squad. Reportedly, in February 2024, she and her group went on to compete for a chance to participate in the World Championships.

Later, while penning a tribute for National Women in Sports Day, Jordon called cheerleading a sport which kept her “anchored through difficult seasons of adolescence and young adulthood.” She further credited it with engraining "resilience, discipline, and punctuality” into her bones while bringing her lifelong friends.

According to reports, Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson met for the first time in February 2021 when they were seated next to each other on a flight. TMZ reported that while they were flying from the Boston area to Florida, Bill signed one of Jordon's textbooks. Per a photo obtained by the outlet, the book in question was titled Deductive Knowledge, where the former NFL coach also wrote, “Thanks for giving me a course in logic!”  

Although Bill and Jordon's first meeting dates back to 2021, the couple weren't linked to one another until January 2023. At the time, Bill and Jordon were reportedly seen walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans. A few months after their public sighting, the pair were spotted for the second time in September 2023, enjoying a dinner date in the city.

In June 2024, TMZ was the first to confirm that Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson were in a romantic relationship. Since then, many people, especially those online, have shared their opinion on the same, seemingly fazed by the duo's 48-year age gap. This led Jordon to defend her relationship with her older boyfriend by taking to Instagram, where she wrote: 

“Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge': yet, somehow everything changed. Going strong. I can't wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”

In December 2024, Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, made their red carpet debut as a couple at an annual charity event. The event in question was the Museum Gala, held by the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Jordon shared her thoughts on the event, claiming that it was filled with all of her favourite things, including “friendship, philanthropy, glamour, beet salad, Billy, dance-worthy music, ornithological & oceanic exhibits.”

Being the supportive girlfriend that she is, Jordon Hudson honoured her boyfriend, Bill Belichick, during the 2025 Super Bowl with a custom outfit. In a picture she posted on Instagram, she was seen wearing a black leather jacket adorned with nods to Bill's successful career. Noting that she “designed and created this price with my own bare hands,” Jordon wrote alongside the photos of her outfit: 

"And yes, that is an up-cycled leather jacket with time-contextual, historically accurate patches corresponding to BB’s lifelong football career, which are placed chronologically, and include all of his 12 Super Bowl appearances (which are more than 20% of all Super Bowls, EVER)."
