"A brother, a champion, a mentor, and an inspiration to many. Mayank Pawar will forever live in our hearts. Please join us in prayer and remembrance. Om Shanti."

Soon, fans showered their condolence messages. One user wrote, "Like a few days back, I was watching his Splitsvilla 7 journey. Can’t really believe. Haven’t seen a pure soul like him in the entire Splitsvilla seasons. Still remember, everyone cried, including Sunny Leone, when he got eliminated. May his soul rest in peace." Another one expressed his opinion on the impacts of steroids and wrote, "Olympia gym shastri nagar me training krta tha bhai shuru me wahi se sare gold laya hai, mgr galti ye thi mindset aisa tha ki kuch b thok do bas body banni chye aur vsa hua but internally jo nuksan hua steroids se wo permanent side effects kbhi thk nhi hote. This sport should be banned for good and its the worst sport in human history." A third user penned, "Om shanti … You will be missed bro. We met quite few times in championships but the memories we had will remain forever."

We pray for strength for the family in these testing times!
