Then she started focusing more on representing comedt writers at Zero Gravity and then moved on to Thruline. Molly has managed writers from many iconic comedy shows, including Bill Oakley of The Simpsons.

Soon after Matthew Perry joined Instagram in 2020, Molly Hurwitz made a post welcoming him as an Instagram influencer and also wishing him for their second Valentine's Day together. Although Us Weekly had reported on their then-alleged relationship a few months earlier, this post by Molly confirmed it and revealed that they had been dating for quite some time. At least for two years. She wrote:
