'Mass Jathara' Cast Salary, Ravi Teja And Sreeleela's Whopping Fee For The Action Film Revealed

Mass Jathara, the latest Telugu-language comedy-action film, has been making waves in cinemas, with audiences enjoying it immensely. The film stars Tollywood's 'Mass Maharaja', Ravi Teja and the industry's latest fan-favourite diva, Sreeleela, in lead roles. As Mass Jathara seems to be performing well at the box office, here's a look at the salary of the starcast. 

Mass Jathara cast salary: How much did Ravi Teja and Sreeleela charge? 

According to a report by Flickonclick, lead actor and star of the show, Ravi Teja, bagged the highest fee for Mass Jathara. He was paid a whopping amount of Rs. 12 crores. Sreeleela, who is the lead actress of the movie and has occupied a significant portion of the screen, isn't far behind Ravi with her paycheque of Rs. 3 crores. Rajendra Prasad has been paid Rs. 2.5 crores as per the portal for playing an important supporting character. Meanwhile, Krishna Kumar and Nitish Nirmal were paid Rs. 80 lakh and Rs. 60 lakh, respectively. Naveen Chandra also played one of the most important characters in Mass Jathara, but his fees has not been made public. 

Mass Jathara budget 

Mass Jathara was made with a budget of Rs. 70 crores as per Koimoi, which is quite sizeable for the Telugu film industry. As a result, there is a lot at stake for the production team. Moreover, this recently released film can break Ravi Teja's streak of consistent flops for the past few years. The superstar's last commercially hit movie as a hero was Dhamaka in 2022. The 2023 film Waltair Veerayya, starring him was also a box-office success, but Ravi wasn't the protagonist. Following this, his recent filmography has been filled with four back-to-back flops and average entertainers. 

Mass Jathara plot 

Mass Jathara is a high-octane action drama with Ravi Teja and Naveen Chandra's on-screen characters locking horns throughout the film. Ravi portryas an honest and sincere transport officer named, 'Lakshman Bheri'. However, 'K.G. Reddy', played by Naveen, is a dangerous drug lord who operates a criminal gang and acts as a thorn in 'Lakshman's side, who is on a mission to put him behind bars. The film depicts an intense chase between the two. Meanwhile, Sreeleela plays Ravi Teja's love interest and offers the audience a respite from the intense action, as their romance takes over the screen at times.

The first reviews of Mass Jathara are out, and people have been raving about the movie as a 'mass entertainer'. One X user wrote, "Mass Maharaja Back with his Vintage Comedy.
