Marjorie Taylor Green's Love Life, Husband Divorced Her, Affair Rumours, Dating Brian Glenn Now

Marjorie Taylor Greene, popularly known by her acronym MTG, has dominated headlines with her political views. The Republican from Georgia's professional life has been playing out in public for everyone to witness all her next moves. However, very little is known about MTG's personal life. As her current boyfriend, Brian Glenn, has reacted to her resignation, here's a look at Marjorie Taylor Greene's love life. 

Marjorie Taylor Greene was married to Perry Greene, but he filed for a divorce 

MTG was married to her ex-husband, Perry Greene, since 1995. The former couple met and started dating while studying at the University of Georgia. They also share three children, two daughters, and a son. However, after almost 27 years of marriage, Perry filed for divorce papers in 2022. The divorce petition was filed at the Georgia Superior Court of Floyd County. According to reports, the papers showed that Marjorie Taylor and Perry had already been separated before the latter filed for divorce. The reason for the divorce was cited as the marriage being 'irretrievably broken.' In a statement to Fox News, MTG shared:

“Marriage is a wonderful thing and I’m a firm believer in it. Our society is formed by a husband and wife creating a family to nurture and protect. Together, Perry and I formed our family and raised three great kids. He gave me the best job title you can ever earn: Mom. I’ll always be grateful for how great of a dad he is to our children."

Affair rumours were floating around Marjorie Taylor Greene's divorce

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been quite vocal about upholding family values and the sanctity of marriage. However, following her divorce proceedings, affair rumours started circulating. A report by the Daily Mail suggested that MTG had an affair with a gym employee. A source shared with the portal that it wasn't a secret.

The insider also gave the scoop that everyone around the former couple had doubts about their marriage failing. According to USA Today, Perry also asked the court to seal the proceedings so that "sensitive personal and financial information which would negatively impact the parties’ privacy interests" would not be revealed. Perry also released a statement that showed that their marriage wasn't ending on a bitter note and said:

"Marjorie has been my best friend for the last 29 years and she has been an amazing mom. Our family is our most important thing we have done. As we go on different paths we will continue to focus on our 3 incredible kids and their future endeavors and our friendship."

Interestingly, three days after Perry Greene filed for divorce from MTG, Brian Glenn also filed for divorce from his wife, Kerry, in 2022. Then Marjorie Tatlor Greene and Brian Glenn started dating publicly in 2023. Despite this major coincidence, Brian has often claimed that the two instances are not related. For the unversed, MTG's boyfriend, Brian Glenn, is also a conservative and works as a journalist for a right-leaning portal. As Marjorie Taylor Greene announced her resignation from Congress, he supported her decision.
