Mannara Chopra is a famous actress in the television industry. She started her acting career with Prema Geema Jantha Nai and stepped into Bollywood with the movie, Zid. Moreover, her stint in Bigg Boss 17 has grabbed all the limelight. For the unversed, Mannara ended up in the third position in the reality show. Moreover, the actress' cutesy antics and bubbliness won a zillion hearts. While being in the house, Mannara quite often indulged in ugly spats with her housemates, who even badmouthed her. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about how it affected her.
Mannara Chopra recently sat for an interview with Pinkvilla, wherein she talked about how her co-contestants from Bigg Boss 17 have affected her even after the show was over. Mannara said that after coming out of the Bigg Boss house, she didn't give many interviews but it made her traumatised by certain things, while she also felt grateful for the kind of love and appreciation she received for her stint in the show.

Going further in the interview, Mannara Chopra mentioned that certain vocabularies of a few of her co-contestants didn't change at all, even after coming out of the show. She added that some of her housemates used to talk filthy about her while she tried to keep her patience and be calm. Sharing how it bothered her, Mannara added:
"More than the tasks and everything, I think the vocabulary of certain people didn't change even after coming out of the house. When I'm trying to keep my calm and patience in all the interviews and they're going ahead and talking filth; it kind of bothered me."
The actress further added that she was being herself with her co-constants and giving them full respect and love, but they, on the contrary, were talking behind her back. Mannara added that being a girl from Delhi-Hyderabad location, she thought she would make a lot of friends in her Bigg Boss journey and after relocating to Mumbai, but somehow being the victim of receiving bad talks behind the back, itself is a feeling which cannot be explained as it somehow unnerved her. Mannara can be quoted as saying:
"I was being the best of myself in front of you and giving full respect, love, and care, and still you go behind my back; I think it started to bother me. Also, for somebody who has just relocated to Mumbai after living in the Delhi-Hyderabad sector, I thought after Bigg Boss, I'd have a lot of friends but when you hear these things, it unnerves you, this feeling can not be explained but I think it will go with time."

In the same interview, Mannara Chopra's mom, Kamini Chopra Handa shared that she couldn't just watch and witness how Ankita Lokhande, Isha Malviya, and Ayesha Khan used turmeric, and chilly powder to torture Mannara during a task. She remarked that the scenario itself made her go mum for a straight four days. Mannara's mom said:
"Those three girls tortured her so badly. They used turmeric, and chilly powder and put water with shampoo and chilly powder. I couldn't see all that. I felt I made a big mistake. I went mum for 3-4 days."

Mannara Chopra was a main source of entertainment throughout the reality show, Bigg Boss 17. While her bubbliness left people in awe, the way she showed off her strength to become a second runner-up, speaks volumes about her skills. However, it was reported that Mannara Chopra received more amount than her other high-paying contestants in Bigg Boss. If the reports are to be believed, the diva was earning a whopping Rs. 15 lakh per week on a scale of Rs. 2.1 lakh on a daily basis.
