For a bride, the most important task is to plan her outfits so gorgeously that she stands out in the crowd. A girl, from the beginning of her childhood, dreams to wear the most perfect dress at her wedding, and walking down the aisle, looking like an angel. Since the age of five, we girls use our dupattas and pillow covers to cover our heads, as if they are the veils, and then, suddenly, we grow up and the actual duty of picking out the most gorgeous dress hits us. Well, there is no denying the fact that every bride just nails in her closet choices.
So did the bride, Simran, whose each of the wedding outfits left our jaws dropped on the floor. Keeping it simple yet gorgeous, this was Simran's idea to nail in each of her wedding outfits. So, without further ado, let's jump into the entire lookbook of Simran, and just get lost in her inner world of 'Shanaya' from Student Of The Year.
Simran was dolled up in a gorgeous Manish Malhotra lehenga for her varmala ceremony. She ditched the traditional pastel hues and red, and rather donned a pretty vibrant shaadi ka joda. The choli was in a purple hue and was embroidered with golden threads and zari, along with tassel detailing. The skirt was in deep rani-hue with butti work in golden zari.
She wore a dual dupatta, one in sky-blue tone, which was tucked to her shoulder, and the other one was in magenta hue, which covered her head. Statement jewels, including a pink-chooda, statement bracelets, an emerald necklace, huge mathapatti, nath, and matching earrings, completed her look. Her makeup was also done in a gorgeous way, keeping in mind the elegance of her dress, and oh boy, she nailed as a Manish Malhotra bride.
For her Anand karaj, Simran donned Jayanti Reddy's mint-green-toned sharara set. The gorgeous outfit was highlighted with pink threads all over. She teamed it with a choker, a maang teeka, kaleeras, and matching earrings. For her haldi, Simran donned a yellow-toned kurta set, with dhoti pants. Well, her look was superbly elegant as she opted for a jacket, made with mogra-flowers. Apart from that, she wore floral jewels that amped up her look.

To begin with, for her mehendi ceremony, Simran said 'bye-bye' to the traditional green tone and opted for light yellow. She donned a pretty Sharara set from the label, Dar-e-aab. The kurta had a round cut in the neck, embellished with silver zari work, which highlighted the soft hue of the dress. The sharara skirt was in the same hue and silver leafy motifs, which did proper justice to the entire outfit. What amped up the look of the dress was the dual-toned dupatta in yellow and pink hues. The dupatta had silver embellishments all over. Simran wore her dress with a huge maang-teeka, matching earrings and jhoomer. With silver-toned smokey eyes, nude-toned lipstick, and two hands filled with mehendi, Simran finalised her look.
For the path ceremony at her home, Simran wore a gorgeous salwar suit set from Rimple and Harpreet. The salwar suit was in a soft pink hue, highlighted with white threadwork. In the middle of the salwar, a huge peacock motif was made highlighted with blue threads. She pinned a sheen dupatta to her shoulder to add the final touch to her look. A stone-studded maang-teeka and a pair of statement earrings were enough to make her look like a Punjabi bride.
For her sangeet, Simran wore a red-toned off-shouldered gown with a ruffled cape. Her body-hugging dress had sequins all over, which made it look super gorgeous. It was from the label, Mishru. With diamond-emerald jewels, like matching necklaces, earrings, a bracelet, and a huge diamond ring, Simran completed her look.
