Maniesh Paul Reveals Star Kids' Birthday Parties Have Toy Stores, Says, 'Even Parents Were Like...'

Bollywood's star kids grow up with a silver spoon, something that became a topic of controversy when the audience deemed that they had a wrongful advantage in Bollywood over the 'outsiders'. However, the difference between them and the regular world is not bound to the opportunities in the industry alone. They have an entirely different world, and their birthday parties are no different.

Maniesh Paul shared his experience of attending a star kid's birthday party

Every parent wants the best for their kids, from school, clothes and toys to birthday bashes that they can cherish when they grow up. Bollywood parents are no different. However, their parties can be a little overboard, while the outside world usually doesn't get a glimpse into them, Maniesh Paul recently unveiled what happened in these parties. In a conversation on Bharti TV with Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, the trio spoke about star kids' birthday parties and revealed what they are like.

During the conversation, Bharti, Maniesh and Harsh revealed that these parties usually have a Hamleys-type store. They added that not just the kids but also their parents can sometimes fill up multiple bags with these return gifts. Maniesh added that when he went to a party, he saw how parents and kids were in complete chaos over the party favours. He stated:

"I went to a superstar's kid's birthday party, and my son was with me. He is a good boy otherwise, but here, he couldn't take his eyes off the return gift stall. All the kids just ran towards that stall, and they were all causing so much chaos. Even the parents were like, 'I want this, give me that.'"

In the same conversation, Harsh added that the audience might not be familiar with these concepts and explained that rich people throw parties for their kids with such stores instead of one designated return gift. He shared that kids and parents can take as much as they like from these stores. Maniesh also recalled how he once saw a father carrying five bags full of toys while the kid was just sitting on the side. He stated:

"When rich people throw birthday parties for their kids, they don't just give one designated return gift. They put up a store at the party, like a Hamleys-type store. That store has school bags, cycles, everything, and you can take whatever you want."

Bharti Singh recalled that she felt embarrassed picking gifts for herself

In the same conversation, Bharti Singh recalled how she was attending Salman Khan's sister, Arpita Khan's kid's birthday party with her son, Golla. She added that while her son was too young to pick gifts himself, she felt too embarrassed to do it. Bharti revealed that she then added her son's nanny to pick a few things. However, she loudly asked Bharti about the selection of toys, and since Bharti was standing next to many celebrities, she was even more embarrassed by these questions. She stated:

"I went for Salman's sister Arpita's kid's birthday. They had an entire store there. My kid was little then, so I felt like grabbing toys there (laughs). That’s not what I did, though. I asked the nanny, Rupa Didi, to go and get something. I was like, 'Why are you asking me?' All the star kids and their famous parents were standing there, and I was fishing for a teddy bear there. But it was just so much fun."
