Bollywood actress, Mandira Bedi had suffered the biggest blow of her life when her husband, Raj Kaushal had breathed his last on June 30, 2021. However, despite such a huge blow, Mandira had stood like a rock for her son, Vir and daughter, Tara. Now, in her latest interview, Mandira Bedi opened up about how she is dealing with her husband's loss and the ultimate motivation and aim that she has set for herself.
For the unversed, Mandira Bedi had met her late husband, Raj Kaushal, in 1996 as he was an assistant and she was a famous model and actress. The couple had tied the knot after dating each other for three years, in February 1999. After 12 years, Mandira and Raj had welcomed a baby boy, Vir Kaushal, making them parents for the first time. Nine years later, they had adopted a baby girl, Tara Bedi Kaushal, in 2020.

In an interview with PTI (Press Trust Of India), Mandira Bedi opened up about her life's biggest strength and motivation after her husband, Raj Kushal's demise. The actress clearly stated that now her life's biggest aim is to become good parents for her kids, Vir and Tara. She said, "My motivation to keep working, striving and doing better… My greatest motivation is my children. Everything I do, I do for them. They are my reason to carry on, my reason to live, to do better, to be better. They are the reason that I have courage, strength, the reason for me to earn. I need to be a good parent for them."
On August 15, 2021, Mandira Bedi had taken to her IG handle and had shared a beautiful picture with her late husband, Raj Kaushal, on his first birth anniversary. In the picture, Mandira and Raj could be seen twinning in black, and it had simply broken our hearts, knowing the fact that he is no longer with us.

Along with the picture, Mandira had penned a heartmelting note in the caption, in which she had clearly stated that the void created by Raj's demise in her life would remain unfilled till the end of her life. Her touching note could be read as "August 15: Was always a celebration. Independence Day and Raj's Birthday. Happy Birthday Raj. We miss you and hope that you are watching us and have our backs like you always did. The gaping void will never be filled Here's hoping you're in a better place. Peaceful and surrounded by love."
Two weeks after Raj Kaushal's death due to a heart attack, Mandira had shared a couple of pictures with him on her IG handle on July 14, 2021. Along with the pictures, she had penned a heartbreaking note, culminating her journey with her husband. She had written, "25 years of knowing each other. 23 years of marriage through all the struggle.. through every crest and trough."

On the professional front, Mandira Bedi was recently seen in the web series, Smoke and television show, Qubool Hai 2.0.
