Manav Gohil Reveals Female Fan Forced Him To Marry Her, Came With Brothers, 'Shooting In A Village'

Manav Gohil, a famous television actor, is busy playing a significant role in the Colors show, Bindi. While his role is being loved, he is known for his role in Tenali Raman, Shaadi Mubarak, Yam Hain Hum and more. Recently, Manav revealed that there was a time when a female fan interrupted his shooting as she wanted to get married to him. 

Manav Gohil revealed how a female fan 

Recently, in an interview with Zoom, Manav revealed that he had an unexpected fan moment from the past that left him in shock. Manav shared that a female fan reached him on the set of his show and forced him to marry her. Manav was busy shooting in a village in Maharashtra. She was quoted as saying:

"This happened many years ago. I was shooting in some village in Maharashtra where a lady came with a marriage proposal. I was busy shooting, but my co-stars Hussain, Anuj, Shakti and others were there."

Manav revealed that the woman had come with her five brothers to convince him. The actor shared that it was security guards and producers who managed the situation and asked them to leave. He said:

"She had come with her five brothers. They wanted to meet me and convince me to marry their sister. However, the producers and security guards managed the situations and asked them to leave. It was indeed a shocking fan moment for me."

More about Manav Gohil 

For the unversed, Manav Gohil married Shweta Kawatra in 2004. It was in 2012 that they welcomed a baby girl. The couple met during the shooting of the show, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. It wasn't love at first sight, but a friendship which turned into love. In an interview with Free Press Journal, Manav revealed that nothing rang in his heart when he first met Shweta. They had extremely different backgrounds. Back in those days, Shweta would play antagonists in many shows. 

Shweta and Manav had a previous relationship, which soured their heart for love. However, their friendship healed something within their hearts. Manav knew that he wanted more than friendship with Shweta. He went on to confess his feelings, but Shweta wasn't ready, as she thought it could turn into a big mess. Shweta once said:

"Both of us have burnt our hands in past relationships. And when I realised that he likes me more than a friend, it made me feel uncomfortable. I wasn’t being free and frank with him like earlier."

Shweta was unable to comprehend Manav's proposal. In fear of losing him, she started ignoring him. However, she soon realised that she was missing him, and while there was no official declaration of love, the two understood what they had to do. On the professional front, Manav has made a huge name with his shows such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Remix, Adaalat, Qubool Hai, Tenali Rama, Shaadi Mubarak and so on.
