Malaika turned 50 in style and glamour, celebrating with her pals and family. Inside pictures of her celebration quickly went viral, showing Malaika in a beautiful pink off-the-shoulder dress, surrounded by candles and balloons, with a massive cake topped with a '50'. 

Malaika's sister, Amrita Arora, also shared a glimpse of Malaika’s birthday celebration on Instagram. She shared a few snapshots of cake, Malaika twirling in a pink and golden shimmy dress, and wrote: “For all the years of being 50. You are finally 50, my beautiful sister.” In another message, she added, “Mallaaa, you are finally 50. Ugh, could there be a better 50-year-old!! Uffff I love you deep… What a night last night was… Magical!!”

One of her best friends and actress, Kareena Kapoor, also shared a note that read: “Happy Birthday darling Malla. Golden girl, Golden birthday. Have the bestest one ever… love you.”

A Reddit post made a collage of celebrations from 2019 and 2025, respectively, and reads: “Malaika celebrated her 49th birthday in 2019 & 50th birthday in 2025.” By simple calculation, if Malaika celebrated her 46th birthday in 2019, then this should be her 52nd birthday.

Right after the post went viral, users started commenting and asking if she celebrated her '50th' birthday yesterday. "I mean, how? If you are gonna mention your age on cakes and all, then how can you lie? Peak clown behavior."
