Malaika Arora Finally Reveals Her Real Age After Netizens Questioned It, 'My Hearts Is Full...'

Malaika Arora is a popular Bollywood actress, who is known for strong acting in films and energetic dancing on item songs. Over the long career, she has found herself in the middle of a controversy and this time it was no different. For those who don't know, Malaika recently celebrated her birthday, but a few users felt that she was faking her age. Well, the actress has finally addressed the backlash and revealed her actual age. 

Malaika Arora reveals her age with a birthday post

On October 26, 2025, Malaika Arora took to her Instagram handle to share a series of photos from her grand birthday party. In a lot of photos, she was seen enjoying with her son, Arhaan Khan. Along with it, she also penned a note, in which she thanked all her close ones for making her day even special. In between that, she addressed the rumours around her age and revealed that on October 23, 2025, she celebrated her 50th birthday. Her note can be read as:

"My heart is full. Thank you all for the love, the wishes, and for making my 50th truly special. A special thank you to the wonderful people who helped me plan and create such a beautiful celebration @amuaroraofficial @shaklad @naureen.abdullah @gaurav.s.batra @popgoestheliesel @rituberi @jolene.goa @escapegoa and to my friends who celebrated with me — I couldn’t have asked for more!".

Why did netizens feel Malaika was faking her age?

On October 23, 2025, a lot of Malaika Arora's friends and close ones wished her on her 50th birthday. That is when the confusion began, as some eagle-eyed users found her birthday post from 2019, in which she was celebrating her 46th birthday. This led to major backlash, as netizens felt that Malaika who is actually of 52 years, was faking to be of 50 years. However, later Malaika’s sister, Amrita had shared a photo of the three-tier cake and confirmed that the actress was celebrating her 50th birthday.

Malaika Arora is one of the most loved Bollywood actresses. She rose to fame in the early 1990s as a VJ with MTV India. She co-anchored programs like Club MTV, Love Line and Style Check. From there, she moved into modelling and then eventually into Bollywood films. Initially, she appeared in the music video of Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha, but her breakthrough came with the song, Chaiyya Chaiyya, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Later, she appeared in songs like Munni Badnaam Hui, Maahi Ve and more. 

Her first major acting role was in the film, EMI, but it failed to impress the audience. Later, she appeared as a judge in reality shows like India's Got Talent, Nach Baliye, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa and more. Most recently, Malaika appeared in the song, Poison Baby, from the film, Thamma. In her personal life, she had tied the knot with actor, Arbaaz Khan in 1998, but in 2016, the duo announced separation and their divorce was finalised by 2017. The ex-couple even have a son, Arhaan, who was reportedly born in 2002.
