He is a popular right-arm fast bowler on the Indian cricket team, and these rumours soon made headlines. However, after much speculation, Mahira Sharma's mother has shared her reaction to the news.

Mahira Sharma won hearts with her beauty, fun personality, and honesty in the Bigg Boss 13 house. But since then, she has always been silent about her personal life. Consequently, she didn't give any reaction to her dating rumours with Mohammed Siraj. But her mother, Sania Sharma, expressed her surprise at these reports in an interview with Telly Talk.

Sania couldn't understand the source of these rumours and clarified that there was no truth behind these reports. She denied them and mentioned that people were making random claims about her daughter's personal life after she rose to popularity. Mahira's mom emphasized that no one should believe these reports. In her words:

"Yeh kya bol rahe hai aap. Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Log toh kuch bhi bolte hai. Abhi meri beti celebrity hai toh log apna muh kholke kisi se bhi uska naam jod denge, toh hum kya usse maan le. Yeh khabar puri tarah se jhooth hai.”

Mahira Sharma and Mohammed Siraj are 'romantically involved,' claims an insider 

The dating rumours between Mahira Sharma and Mohammed Siraj stemmed after the cricketer liked Mahira Sharma's pictures on Instagram back in November 2024. An insider report by ETimes recently revealed that the duo were taking time to get to know each other and had been 'romantically involved'. Moreover, it claimed that the two were following each other on Instagram and were spending time together. When a few news portals tried to reach Mahira, she didn't share any reaction to it. For those unversed, Mahira Sharma was earlier dating Paras Chhabra but the actress broke up with him and never spoke about it.

Mohammed Siraj clarified his dating rumours with Asha Bhosle's granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle 

A few days earlier, Mohammed Siraj attended the birthday party of Asha Bhosle's granddaughter and singer, Zanai Bhosle. Later, when she posted a dump of her pictures from the party, her candid moment with Mohammed Siraj ignited the duo's dating rumours. But, the two immediately shut down the speculations as Zanai posted a snap with him captioning, "mere pyaree bhai." On the other hand, Siraj also took to his Instagram story and reposted Zanai's story with the caption:

"Meri behen ke jaisi koi behna nahin. Bina iske kahin bhi mujhe rehna nahin. Jaise hai chaand sitaaron mein, meri behna hai ek hazaaro mein.”
