Mahhi Vij Shut Divorce Buzz With Jay Bhanushali Twice, Four Months Back, But With Diplomatic Answers

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij married in 2010, and they renewed their wedding vows four years later. In 2017, the couple became parents to their caretaker's kids, Rajveer and Khushi. It was most recently reported that sources told Hindustan Times that Jay and Mahhi are actually headed for a divorce. It was in July 2025 that Mahhi Vij, during an interview with Hauterrfly, was questioned about her and Jay Bhanushali's divorce buzz. To this, Mahhi cross-questioned if those who are constantly interrogating her about her and Jay's relationship status are her relatives, thereby sharply denying commenting on personal matters to unknown people. She further sassily asked whether those who keep questioning her will pay her lawyer's fees. She said:

"Agar separation hai toh bhi main kyu batau tumko? Tum mere chacha lagte ho? Mere lawyer ki fees doge ya divorce karwaoge?"

In the same interview, Mahhi Vij said that she feels that people just wait for something ugly to take place, so the targeted persons keep on throwing mud on each other, and they can enjoy. She also expressed her disappointment with people's judgments, like she is decent and Jay is not, or vice versa, are actually harmful, and the people who pass judgments actually don't even have an idea about what's going on. Mahhi Vij said:

"They comment things like 'Mahhi is decent, Jay is like this' or 'Jay is nice but Mahhi is like that.' Who are you, really? Do you even know anything about us to judge like this? People just wait for something ugly to happen so they can say, 'Now things will get ugly and now they'll start throwing mud at each other.' But I just feel - live and let live."

Following this interview, in the same month, Mahhi Vij, took to her social media handle and lashed out at a news channel for spreading news about her divorce from Jay. She didn't directly mention if the buzz was true or not; she expressed her disappointment over the fact that people keep making stories about someone's personal life, for a few likes and views, which she feels is a matter of shame. Mahhi's note could be read as:

"Some channels and Insta pages have lost dignity and humanity. Just for a few likes and comments, shame on you."

The separation buzz between Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali began after the couple stopped posting their family photos and even each other's photos back in the last few months, which raised concerns among their fans, given that they both are quite active on social media. Well, it kept on intensifying for one reason or another. It's on October 27, 2025, when a report by the Hindustan Times claimed that the couple is actually headed for a divorce. As per a source, Mahhi and Jay tried to save their marriage, but even after multiple trials, it couldn't be saved. The same source mentioned that the duo separated a long time ago and they filed for divorce a few months back, which has been signed and finalised, while the custody of the kids will also be decided upon.
