'Prahlad's role was something that remained as the hook for Mahavatar Narsimha, as a soft yet strong nudge in the viewers' emotions. For the unversed, behind Prahlad's sweet voice was the voiceover artist, Haripriya Matta. While little is known about the artist or her background, there is no denying that she did an amazing job voicing 'Prahlad' in the animated movie, for which she garnered considerable attention. Plot of Mahavatar Narsimha

Mahavatar Narsimha is an animated movie, based on the story of Vishnu's avatar, Narsimha, who appeared to save his bhakt, 'Prahlad'. 'Prahlad' was the son of 'Hiranyakashyap', who, to avenge his brother's death, did tapasya and got a blessing from Brahma that no human or god could kill him while he was inside or outside the door, and neither could he be killed in the evening nor in the morning.

However, 'Prahlad' was born to 'Hiranyakashyap' and 'Kayadhun'. When he was in his mother's womb, he listened to the Puranas about Vishnu, and even after restrictions in his father's kingdom, he worshipped the God. Eventually, his father abandoned him and even tried to kill him, but his love and belief in Vishnu saved him. After getting darshan of Padmanabha, he again went back to his father, and when he tried to behead him, Narsimha arrived and killed him. The movie brings out the traditional tale about Narsimha, and the way it was visually presented left us in awe, making us eager to binge on it.
