Madhuri Dixit is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. The queen of expressions rules over millions of hearts, courtesy of her stunning dance moves and her pleasant personality. Moreover, she is the dream girl of every 90s kid. However, the diva broke several hearts after she tied the knot with Dr. Shriram Nene in 1999. The couple is even blessed with two amazing sons, Arin Nene and Ryan Nene. Recently, the actress opened up about her marital life with Shriram Nene.
Recently, Madhuri Dixit opened up about her marital life with her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene. The actress appeared on her husband's YouTube channel, wherein she can be seen talking about how her journey as a spouse of a doctor. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that her marital journey has been tough because of her husband, Shriram's busy schedule. Further, she said to her husband that he is always on duty whether it's day or night and coping with that has been difficult for her. In her words:

"It’s tough because of the kind of time you guys have to keep. Whether it's day night and the call schedules, sometimes your every other day call, sometimes you are on like maybe skip one day and you are on call."

Further, Madhuri talked about how difficult it has been for her to manage everything on her own. Elaborating more about it, the actress said to her husband that since he was always on his duty, she was left to be the in-charge of the home. From taking their kids to school to managing the home, she had to do everything on her own. Further in their conversation, Madhuri even recalled the days when Shriram was not there for the family and mentioned that there were times when he missed things because he had to look after someone else at the hospital. Talking more about the same, the actress said:
"It’s hard because then you are the one who is looking after the kids, taking them to school, getting them back and stuff like that. Also, the timings, there might have something important happening but you are not there, because you are in the hospital looking after someone else. Sometimes I might be sick and you have to take care of someone else. Those are the things."
In the same conversation, Madhuri even stated that despite all the odds, she feels proud of her husband for being so concerned for his patients and their rights. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that whenever she saw him fighting for his patients, she felt really happy. She even talked about the importance of knowing one's partner in a marriage. The actress even called their marriage a "lovely journey" and said that she and her husband always had a kind of partnership where they looked after each other.

Further, Madhuri revealed that it was only after her marriage with Shriram that she lived her life to the fullest. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she did a lot of adventure sports with her hubby, and that was an enriching experience for her. Heaping praises about her husband, the diva stated that having a supportive partner like him is an integral part of their marital journey. In her words:
"After I got married, I lived my life because we went out, we travelled a lot and we did a lot of adventure sports which I never did earlier. It just enriched my life and made me a better person. It also gave me a flight of fancy sometimes. Having a supportive spouse like this, who loves you and cares about you regardless of what happens, is critical to the journey. Both of us have very challenging careers."
For the unversed, Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene got married on October 17, 1999. The couple embraced parenthood for the first time after they welcomed their son, Arin Neen on March 17, 2003. However, their family got completed after the birth of their second son, Ryan Nene on March 8, 2005.
