'Made In Heaven' Fame, Preetika Chawla Gets Married To BF, Kartikeya, Dons A Minimalistic Red Saree

Preetika Chawla is a popular Indian actress. She has appeared in a series of projects like Pushpavalli, Made In Heaven, Girl In The City, and Band Baaja Baraat, among others. Over the years, she has given brilliant performances and proved her mettle in acting. This time, Preetika is hitting the headlines for her personal life, as she has tied the knot with the love of her life, Kartikeya Rao.

On August 28, 2024, Preetika Chawla took to her IG handle and dropped a happy picture with her husband, Kartikeya, from their wedding. In the picture, the actress looked gorgeous in a red-hued saree with gold borders. She teamed her look with subtle makeup, chooda and gold jewellery with green drops. Preetika happily posed with Kartikeya, who was dressed in a blue-hued kurta.

Preetika Chawla's heartfelt note to announce her wedding

Sharing the beautiful frame from her wedding, Preetika announced her wedding to her beau, Kartikeya Rao. She penned a heartfelt note as she commenced the new chapter of her life with her prince charming. Preetika's note can be read as:

"To a lifetime of indulging each other's dreams! @kartirao."

When Preetika Chawla talked about her wedding plans

Preetika Chawala hails from Dehradun and she is trying her level best to make it big in Bollywood. In an old interview with SpotboyE, the actress was asked if her parents put pressure on her to get married. Responding to it, Preetika said:

"I mean I’m from Dehradun. You always have your uncles and aunties saying, ‘Arey beta shaadi kab kar rahe ho?’ I really wonder what settling down means? Whether it’s a man or a job, I don’t understand the term! Of course the pressure comes and one has to stand up against it."

Preetika Chawla attended Welham Girls School, Dehradun. After that, she enrolled in correspondence for a BA Honours from Delhi University. However, she was in her second year of college when she joined the production house, Blue Mango Films. She began her acting career in TV serials like Mumbai Calling and Jyoti. Preetika made her Bollywood debut in the 2010 film, Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu, in which she played the role of 'Laali', a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan. However, it was her role as 'Geetanjali Sinha' in Made In Heaven, that helped her etch a name for herself in the audience's minds.
