Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with the love of her life, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23, 2024. The duo had an intimate registry marriage at Sonakshi's residence, followed by a reception at Bastian, Mumbai. However, rumors were rife that Shatrughan Sinha's sons, Luv and Kush, did not attend their sister, Sonakshi’s wedding to Zaheer, igniting speculation about troubles in the Sinha family dynamics. While Kush clarified that he attended Sonakshi's wedding, Luv gave cryptic responses.
Luv Sinha became a soft target of trolls after the rumours of him being absent from Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding surfaced online. Taking to his IG handle, on June 30, 2024, Luv shared a strong statement, slamming the online campaign against him. In his note, Luv expressed his disappointment over the rumours and mentioned that his family is his top priority. He penned:
"Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me, my family will always come first."

Not just this, Luv Sinha also shared a link to a news report titled, 'Against The Tide,' which talked about the rumours of Zaheer Iqbal's antecedents. The report mentioned that there was anxiety among the Sinha family about Zaheer's father, Iqbal Ratansi's proximity to a corrupted politician and his stint in Dubai. However, Luv quashed all such rumours with his post and also quoted the media portal as saying:
“Apparently, one reason for anxiety was a rumour about the groom’s antecedents. With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the 'washing machine'. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai, which was rumoured to have ended rather abruptly.”
Earlier, reports claimed that while each of Sonakshi Sinha's family members attended her wedding to Zaheer Iqbal, her brothers, Luv and Kush were nowhere to be seen in the pictures. When Luv was asked about the reason behind his absence from the wedding, he reportedly claimed that he wanted a few days to talk about it. However, later, taking to his IG handle, Luv reacted to the reports and denied giving such a statement to any new portal. He wrote:
"A ‘Source’. They need better sources.”
