'Love Island USA Season 7' Finale Ends In A Shocking Falling Out Between Chris And Huda, 'My Mama..'

Love Island USA is an American dating show based on the British series Love Island. The series was originally announced in 2018 by CBS and has since become a well-loved entertainer. However, it was with its release on Peacock that it achieved greater success. The show came back for its seventh instalment in early June 2025 and concluded with an explosive finale. While Amaya and Bryan were crowned the winners of the show, another fan favourite couple, Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley, shocked fans by ending their relationship.

Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley's shocking finale breakup

While the couple anticipated the results of the finale, Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley spent the entire episode fighting over Chris not cuddling the former. Well, it all started with Huda asking Chris, who seemed half-asleep at the moment, to cuddle with her. She even gave him an ultimatum, saying, 'I am going to give you three seconds.' However, the tone didn't sit well with Chris, and he refused. The next day, he was seen chatting with Bryan Arenales and told him:

"Last night, bro, she was trying to be all touchy and s**t. You know what her first reaction was? 'You have three seconds.' I'm not going there with you. I choose to sleep every time. And so I didn't talk to her for the rest of the night. She just kept poking. I shouldn't have to argue about me going to sleep. I'm gonna go on this date. I'm really going to put my best foot forward. But if the same s**t happens on the date... I will crash out."

Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley part ways

On the date, things didn't get any better for the duo. As Chris and Huda attempted to talk about their issues, things took a sour turn. The conversation started with Chris explaining how they needed to work on their communication and how Huda lacked affection when she spoke with him. Huda responded by saying:

"There's chemistry, but then there's also things that we need to work on. I think we need to address those things so that we don't have animosity towards one another. We were in the final four. I wanted to cuddle with you. Personally, I like it when a man grabs me. I'm having to pull your arms over me. It's almost every night I'm doing that. When you don't want to do it, it gives me a sense of rejection, which hurts."

However, Chris was not backing down from his stance as he felt disrespected by Huda. While Huda admitted that both of them did things that were wrong, Chris was not able to move ahead from how Huda talked to him and stated:

"My mama doesn't talk to me like that, I'm not going to let someone I'm talking to talk to me like that."

The date furthered with Huda ending things with Chris, stating that moving forward in the outside world, there was no time for them to figure this out, as they were not exclusive and still getting to know each other. She mentioned that many of their needs had physical aspects, but she was unsure if they could make it work in the real world, so she asked if they could just be friends. However, Chris refused her offer and shared that he needs to keep his distance from her.
