Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales confirm their separation 

Amaya Espinal, 25, and Bryan Arenales, 28, have confirmed their split on social media. The latter took to his Instagram Stories on August 27, 2025, and described that their different views and expectations had led them to call it quits. He mentioned that they mutually decided upon their breakup, and he had nothing but the best wishes for Amaya, who supported him at every point in Love Island USA. Sharing the news, he penned:

"Amaya and I have decided to go our separate ways. Unfortunately, we were not on the same page, and that is OK. We both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together, and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward."

However, Amaya Espinal had already confirmed the news several hours earlier. She announced that they were not together anymore. Going into the details, Amaya explained that right after the moment they left the Love Island USA Season 7's villa, they had a clarity that they were going to go on two different journeys. She explained that their respective visions were in opposite directions, which led to the heartbreaking decision. Sharing how they made a call before things became difficult, she wrote:

"You don't have to drink the whole sea to know it's salty. All love here, and I truly wish him the best."

The split announcement is not exactly sudden news because fans were following some hints about a possible distance between the duo. It began when the duo unfollowed each other on social media. Although many other couples did the same, Amaya had also reposted several memes about heartbreak, which led fans to believe that something was not right between them. A caption in one of the posts read: 

"When I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again."

The drama became more intense because Bryan had earlier faced accusations of infidelity. Reports surfaced in July when a TikTok user claimed to spot him with two women at a Los Angeles nightclub. Although the video was later deleted, it quickly went viral. Bryan downplayed the incident in interviews, calling it a "lapse in judgment" while working at the club. He later shared a playful TikTok with Amaya afterward with a caption:

"When everyone thinks you're over, meanwhile, this is us."
