The couple had an arranged marriage on July 31, in Kohlapur, in the presence of their mentor Vinod Kamboj (President of Western Mountain Sports).
The wedding ceremony was performed mid-air, in the valley between the 3,000 feet tall peaks of Vishalgadh and Panhala. Groom’s mentor said:
"While Jadhav was all prepared for the 'hanging' nuptials, his bride-to-be Reshma, a first-timer for any such 'high-flying' adventure, had no hang-ups and joined enthusiastically, albeit a bit nervously."
It was not only the bride and the groom who were hanging mid-air to tie the knot, the 35-year old priest, Suraj Dholi was also hanging along with them. He recited all the wedding mantras, mid-air, with the help of a microphone. Every ritual took place, apart from the ‘saat pheras’ around the ‘agni’.

Jadhav and Reshma both were looking stunning in traditional Maharashtrian wedding attires. They were tied with a tough rope made of nylon. The wedding was excitedly witnessed by more than 1200 people. Everyone clapped and congratulated the couple, once the wedding was over.
After taking their elders’ blessings, the couple and the guests moved for the wedding feast. It was comprised of masala pulao, vegetables, dal and sweet sheera which was served to all, including the villagers, curious onlookers and the wedding guests from both families.
