Leslie Davis, 42, recently took to her blog on January 16, 2026, to dispel the confusion regarding her relationship status with her new fiancé, Don, and husband, Jacob. The HGTV star revealed that her social media exploded with questions after she announced her engagement on Instagram. Consequently, Leslie confirmed in her post that she and her ex-husband, Jacob, had divorced in 2022, but she deliberately kept the news to herself to protect her children from public scrutiny. Sharing the same, she said:

"With lots of changes, our priority was to always protect our family. That's why I kept this part of my life private."

Leslie explained that protecting the peace of her children and family was her topmost priority. At the same time, she clarified that there was no drama behind the separation. According to the 42-year-old, she and Jacob continue to share a strong co-parenting bond for their three sons, Kyler, Cash, and Cole. Moreover, she praised her ex-husband, calling him a "rockstar of a dad," and noted that he always preferred to stay out of the spotlight, which was another reason to keep the news under wraps. In her words:

"Jacob and I will always share love for each other, just now in a new way. We have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other's new adventures, and always put our boys first. Who even announces a divorce anyway LOL!"

The longtime secret about Leslie Davis's personal life came to light only after she announced her engagement to Don Reidy on January 14, 2026. She shared the happy news on Instagram and revealed that Don proposed to her during a snowy snowmobile trip in Leavenworth, Washington. The moment was more special since all three of her sons were present. Recalling the memory, she said:

"SURPRISE! Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect. What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy."

Before Leslie began a new chapter with Don, she shared more than a decade with Jacob Davis. The pair were high school sweethearts and married for 19 years. They used to co-host Unsellable Houses and raised their three sons. Throughout, Jacob stayed largely out of the public spotlight despite Leslie's HGTV fame. But later, in January 2026, she confirmed that they divorced in 2022.
