It was just last week only when netizens were drooling over Mohit Marwah and Antara Motiwala’s star-studded wedding pictures. Little did we know that it would be the last time when we are watching the legendary actress, Sridevi Kapoor slaying her elegance. But the fate took a drastic turn for Bollywood’s Chandni, and the nation woke up to the news of her sudden demise on the morning of February 25, 2018.
The 54-year-old actress was in Dubai to attend her nephew, Mohit’s wedding with her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor. Her elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor skipped the wedding as she was busy with the shooting for her debut film, Dhadak. Just after the news of her demise came out, the video of Sridevi dancing with her hubby Boney Kapoor to the song Kala Chashma surfaced online.

Boney can be seen hugging his lovely wife at the end of the video, and the two sharing a warm moment together. India is still mourning the death of the prominent actress Sridevi, and the entire social media is reliving the last moments of the actress. Sadma of her death has still not sunk in, and everyone is hoping it to be nothing but a nightmare. The nostalgia is stinging in as she was the favourite of not only one generation, but she has inspired everyone with her dancing and acting skills. From bubbly Chandni to resilient Devki in Mom, Sridevi being Bollywood’s first female superstar had her own era. Sridevi married the love of her life, film producer Boney Kapoor on June 2, 1996, and they were blessed with daughters, Janhvi in 1997 and Khushi in 2000. It is so heart-wrenching to mention the veteran actress Sridevi in the past tense. Starting off her acting career at the age of 4, she gave the industry five decades of her life. No actress can channel Charlie Chaplin better than her in the film, Mr India. She could pull off any role with so much ease that it is difficult to find such grace in actresses nowadays.
Sridevi was last seen on the big-screen in the film Mom, opposite Pakistani actress, Sajal Ali, Akshaye Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actress has a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer film, Zero and it will be her last film in Bollywood. Bollywood and television stars took to their social media accounts to express their grief for the late actress. While Janhvi’s mentor, Karan Johar went to support her as soon as the news came out, brother Arjun Kapoor went to Anil Kapoor’s residence to console Khushi.
