Lalita D'silva Refuses To Be Addressed As 'Taimur's Nanny', Praises Upasana Konidela And Ram Charan

Lalita D'silva is one of the most popular staff members of various prominent star families. She became widely recognised as Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's elder son, Taimur Ali Khan's caregiver. However, not many know that she also looked after Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's kids, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani, and Anant Ambani. Now, she is living with Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela and working as a pediatric nurse for their baby, Klin Kaara.

Lalita D'silva strongly reacts to being called Taimur's nanny

In a conversation with Hindi Rush, Lalita D'silva strongly reacted to being referred to as Taimur's nanny and clarified that she's not a caregiver. She revealed that she is a pediatric nurse and would prefer to be addressed like that. Lalita further added that it made her upset when the paps would spot her with Taimur, and she began to be called Taimur's nanny nationwide. In her words

"Pehle Tata, Birla, sabke yahan pediatric nurse hoti thi aur nanny, maid hoti thi. I'm not a nanny, I'm a pediatric nurse and prefer to be called that."

Lalita D'silva lauds Upasana Konidela for her humble nature

Lalita also reflected on her time with the Konidela family and described them as warm and welcoming. Talking about the stark differences between the cultures of Mumbai and Hyderabad, she mentioned that they have different eating habits due to their South Indian roots. Praising Upasana, Lalita mentioned that the star wife is extremely caring, despite her high-profile position and said:

“Upasana will place her hand on my shoulder and ask, ‘Did you have your tea?’ The entire family is extremely normal. They don’t forcefully ask you to stand and take care of their baby. They told me, ‘Aap outstation se aaye ho toh treat us like your family,’ and now they’re my family.” 

Lalita calls Upasana and Ram Charan hands-on parents

Lalita also heaped praises on the Konidela family for their humility and kindness and lauded them for their hospitality. She shared that whenever she wants to have rest, Upasana happily looks after her baby girl, Klin Kaara. She also mentioned how Upasana and Ram Charan are hands-on parents and said:

"Everything about the family is very good. If I need to rest, Upasana madam takes care of the child. Currently, they are in London, and Ram Charan sir and Upasana ma'am are hands-on parents, managing everything themselves."

Lalita compares the paparazzi culture in Hyderabad and Mumbai

Lalita further shed light on the paparazzi culture in Hyderabad and compared it to the situation in Mumbai. She expressed her concern and shared that the paparazzi in Hyderabad are much stricter than in Mumbai and star kids can step out without facing the same craziness. She added:

"Wahan maine aisa pagal crowd nahi dekha jaisa Bombay mein hai. Wahan bhi media pareshan karti hai par handle kar lete hain karne wale."
