The film has smashed records and has now become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025 in Kerala, beating the records of Rekhachitram. It is also set to surpass Officer on Duty and even claim the title of the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year.

In the UK alone, it recorded an opening day collection of GBP 6,28,000 (Rs. 7 crore), making it the biggest-ever Indian film opener in the region.

According to expert prediction, the film could soon surpass the lifetime collection of Manjummel Boys within the first week itself. For those unaware, Manjummel Boys turned out to be one of the biggest Malayalam films, generating Rs. 241 crore. Empuraan could also potentially become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. The film’s advance bookings for the weekend have also been strong, ensuring its continued dominance at the box office.
