In the same year, Kushal Tandon participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss 7, where he met Gauahar Khan (season's winner). The duo instantly felt love blooming, and they were hailed as the most loved couple. After coming out of the show, they dated for one-and-a-half-year and explored the world together. However, they parted ways on an ugly note. After a couple of years of cold war, the duo reunited and maintained a cordial friendship.

It was around 2018, when murmurs of Kushal Tandon being romantically involved with Ridhima Pandit made headlines.
