Renowned poet and orator, Kumar Vishwas, known for his poignant poetry and impactful speeches, recently shared a heart-melting moment from the intimate wedding of his daughter, Agrata Sharmma. The poet recently shared some glimpses from Agrata’s dreamy wedding soiree, and every moment felt like a perfect blend of magic and heartfelt emotions. Kumar Vishwas took to his X (formerly Twitter) on March 6, 2025, where he shared a video of his daughter’s wedding. In the now-viral post, the father-daughter moment stole the spotlight. As Agrata, adorned in her stunning bridal ensemble, turned towards him, he and his wife fought back tears. Despite his best efforts to contain his emotions, his eyes welled up once again, as his daughter walked towards the mandap. 

As Agrata and Pavitra walked towards the mandap, performers welcomed them with graceful dance moves, enhancing the celebration. Agrata looked regal in a red and gold lehenga, paired with a sheer dupatta featuring intricate border detailing, while another dupatta draped elegantly over her head. She completed her look with an ornate choker, matching earrings, a maang tikka, and bangles. Pavitra complemented her in a cream sherwani with gold-green floral patterns, a red pagdi with kalgi, churidar pants, and a multi-layered necklace. They exchanged the varmala, leaving everyone emotional and marking a heartfelt and bittersweet moment.

The doting father, Kumar Vishwas shared the video of his daughter’s dreamy wedding, adding a heartfelt caption in Sanskrit as a poetic tribute, which translates as:

“Just as the Himalayas gave Goddess Parvati to Lord Shiva and the ocean offered Goddess Lakshmi to Lord Vishnu, similarly, King Janak presented Sita to Lord Ram, bringing new glory to the world.”

Following the wedding, there was another lavish reception back in Delhi, graced by renowned artists, celebs and political personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other dignitaries. Adding to the grandeur, musical legends Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher performed at the event, making it an unforgettable evening.
