Bollywood actress, Kriti Sanon has been grabbing the headlines for quite some time now for her dating rumours with UK-based businessman, Kabir Bahia. They also recently celebrated her birthday together in Greece, amid the presence of their other close friends and Kriti's sister, Nupur Sanon.
Amid all this, Kriti Sanon sat for a candid conversation with Filmfare about the constant social media scrutiny of her personal life. She revealed that the circulation of false information concerning her personal life is extremely frustrating. Revealing how she reacts to all the gossip that’s written about her, Kriti said:

"When false negative information is published about me, it’s not just frustrating for myself but also impacts my family. They shouldn’t have to deal with the repercussions of something untrue. It’s particularly aggravating when random rumours, like me supposedly getting married, start circulating. Friends then message me assuming it’s true and I have to clarify that it’s not. People often don’t bother to verify facts before spreading stories, especially on social media where negativity spreads quickly. Having to constantly correct these falsehoods is incredibly irritating and ends up being more bothersome than anything else."

In the same conversation, Kriti also mentioned how netizens nowadays are extremely judgemental and throw comments on the media personality recklessly without any consideration. Thus, she reflected on how posting negative comments online is now commonplace. The actress also mentioned that those online people forget that on those who are posting such comments are also humans. She added:
“People often forget that the person on the receiving end is also human. In the past, without social media, individuals might have silently formed opinions after reading something in a newspaper. Now, there’s a trend where people derive satisfaction from posting negative comments online. With so many individuals expressing their opinions freely, it feels like everyone believes they have the right to say whatever they want without filtering their thoughts. The widespread access to social platforms and ample free time contribute to this phenomenon.”
At times, the rumours about Kriti and Kabir seemed right, as recently, the duo's photos shared on their respective social media handles had a unique connection. On July 31, 2024, Kriti posted an array of photos with her sister from her recent trip to Mykonos to celebrate her birthday. In the photos, she was seen wearing a black-hued floral-printed shrug along with a matching-coloured bralette and shorts.

On the other hand, the same day, Kabir posted a photo with his friends on his IG handle. However, what caught our attention was the shrug he was wearing, which looked completely similar to that of Kritis. This added fuel to the ongoing speculations about his relationship with Kriti.
Earlier, we spotted the rumoured couple, Kriti and Kabir, in a few more viral photos of them partying together in Mykonos. In those photos, Kriti was wearing an orange-hued bralette and shorts teamed with a long shrug. It's worth mentioning that neither of them has addressed their dating rumours yet.
On the work front, Kriti Sanon was last seen in the comedy-drama, The Crew alongside Tabu and Kareena Kapoor. Currently, she is gearing up for her next film, Do Patti, alongside Kajol. Apart from this, there are also certain reports that Kriti would soon be seen opposite Dhanush in Aanand L Rai's upcoming directorial movie, Tere Ishk Mein. As per a report, Tere Ishk Mein's shoot will likely begin in October 2024, while the film will be tentatively released in 2025.
