Death is an uninvited guest and the ultimate reality of life. Nothing can stop it, nobody can escape it, all one could do is face it. With all the glitters and materialisms of life, death teaches us an important lesson that nothing is constant. Losing someone close to us is something that cannot be described in mere words. The numbness and emptiness the person leaves behind can only be felt. Even after months and years, the vacuum remains the same. It was in the afternoon of June 14, 2020, when the news channels flashed the breaking news of actor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The versatile actor, known for his performances in Kai Po CheMS Dhoni: The Untold Story and many more, had committed suicide at his Mumbai residence. As per the media reports, Sushant, who was 34-year-old was under medication for depression from the last six months. The news of Sushant’s untimely death had sent shock waves through the entire Bollywood industry and in the hearts of all his fans. It has been one month since Sushant’s death and it seems like yesterday when his charming smile had blown our minds.

To mark Sushant Singh Rajput’s one-month death anniversary, actress, Kriti Sanon penned a cryptic poem for him. On July 14, 2020, Kriti took to her Instagram handle and shared a poem written by her, remembering Sushant. She wrote, “And in between a guilty laughter that pretended to move on, Her eyes shed tears of reality and broke all her delusion.” Although Kriti didn’t mention Sushant’s name but it was quite evident in her poem that she was referring to him.

Shattered by the news of Sushant’s death, Kriti had taken to her IG handle and had shared a eulogy for him. Remembering his brilliant mind, Kriti had written, “Sush. I knew that your brilliant mind was your best friend and your worst enemy.. but it has broken me completely to know that you had a moment in your life where Dying felt easier or better than Living. I so wish you had people around you to get you past THAT moment, I wish you hadn’t pushed the ones who loved you away.. i wish i could have fixed that something which was broken inside you..I couldn’t.. I wish so so many things.... A part of my heart has gone with you.. and a part will always keep you alive.. In an interview with Punjab Kesari’s entertainment portal, Tadka Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput's father had revealed how Kriti Sanon had a conversation with him after Sushant’s funeral. Talking about the same, he had stated, “Aaye toh bohot log the lekin humse sirf Kriti Sanon mili thi, ha wo baith ke baat kiya. Hum toh baat nahi kiya, wo jo bol rahi thi hum sunte gaye. Aaye sablog aaye, par Corona ke chalte sab dur hi the. Kyuki muh pe mask tha toh hum kisiko pehechane nahi. Kriti Sanon bagal mein baithi thi na aur kisine bataya toh malum hua ki...par wo thi ya nahi thi wo malum nahi ha par ek smart ladki thi aur bol rahi thi ki pyaara ladka tha, yehi sab baat hai.”

On July 14, 2020, actress, Ankita Lokhande had taken to her Instagram handle to remember Sushant and had prayed for the 'Child Of God'. Sharing a picture of a diya, surrounded with flowers in the temple of her house, Ankita had written, "Child of God."
