Following this, they were in a steady relationship for quite some years until March 15, 2024, when the lovebirds tied the knot in a dreamy wedding celebration. Soon after their wedding, the love-filled pictures from the same got filled on the entire social media, and elated fans were cheering for the same. Moreover, both Pulkit's sherwani, with Gayatri Mantra on it and Kriti's beautiful wedding trousseau made quite a few headlines.

Now, a source close to Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat revealed an unknown anecdote about the actress' wedding ensemble. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, the insider revealed Kriti's wedding lehenga holds a heartfelt tribute to Pulkit's late mother. According to the close source, Kriti's late mother-in-law's last wish was to see Pulkit's bride in a pink lehenga, as the colour was her favourite. Thus, Kriti gave pure goals by choosing the wedding ensemble. The source revealed:

"Pulkit's mom's favorite color was pink; she wanted to see Pulkit's bride in a pink lehenga and shared this wish with Kriti.”

Kriti stunned in an Anamika Khanna lehenga on her wedding

For the wedding, Kriti opted for a pink-hued lehenga from ace designer, Anamika Khanna's collections. It featured scallop detailing on the hem. The actress teamed her lehenga with a matching choli and a dupatta. Moreover, going by the recent trends in the industry, Kriti opted for subtle makeup along with a statement neckpiece, matching maang teeka, a nath, earrings, pink chooda and customised kaleeras. On the other hand, Kriti's then-groom looked handsome in a pistachio green sherwani from Anamika Khanna's collection, which featured embroidered Gayatri mantra in pastel threads.

Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda celebrated their first Holi

On March 25, 2024, Kriti and Pulkit celebrated their first Holi after their wedding. Thus, they took to her Instagram handle and posted a lovely video compiling their pictures. For the day, the new bride looked pretty in a gorgeous beige-toned suit with a floral print all over it, along with a matching dupatta. On the other hand, Pulkit looked handsome in a pink kurta. In one of the pictures, the actor was seen giving a peck of love on his bride's cheeks. Along with the video, Kriti wrote:

"Hamari pehli holi!"

On March 19, 2024, Kriti took to her Instagram stories and gave an insight into her pehli rasoi. In the pictures, Kriti looked stunning in a red suit and was seen candidly captured while she was garnishing her perfectly cooked halwa. Atop it, she wrote, "Meri pehli rasoi." In another photo, Kriti was posing with Pulkit's grandmother, who looked super happy after eating the mouth-watering halwa. Atop the picture, Kriti wrote, "Approved by dadi."
