Ashutosh Gowariker's Son, Konark And GF, Niyati Stun In Ethnic Wear For Haldi And Early Holi Party

The winter wedding season in India seems far from over, as another couple is soon getting hitched in Bollywood. Renowned filmmaker, Ashutosh Gowariker's son, Konark Gowariker, is set to tie the knot with Niyati Kanakia on March 2, 2025. The soon-to-be bride is the daughter of real estate magnate, Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia of Kanakia Builders. Since the wedding preparations are in full swing, the couple recently began their pre-wedding festivities with a haldi ceremony and early Holi party with their close friends and family members. 

Konark looks handsome in ethnic wear, and Niyati steals the show with her pastel pink lehenga 

Ashutosh Gowariker's son, Konark Gowariker and his soon-to-be bride, Niyati Kanakia, recently hosted their haldi ceremony on February 28, 2025. We got some inside glimpses of the celebration from their close friend and actress, Shazahn Padamsee's Instagram handle, who was a part of the delightful celebration. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a few snippets where Konark and Niyati were spotted sitting and enjoying the dance performances presented by their guests. At the same time, everyone smashed colours on each other for early Holi celebrations.

Konark looked handsome in a classic white kurta-pyjama set without any embellishments. He styled his hair neatly and kept his look minimalist while enjoying the happy event. However, the soon-to-be bride looked gorgeous in a pastel pink lehenga with intricate embroidery and some mirror work that was ideal for a festive look. She paired it with a matching blouse and sheer dupatta with embroidered edges. Niyati accessorised her outfit with a statement choker necklace and matching earrings. Moreover, she completed her look with soft, dewy makeup and left her hair open in soft waves.

Recently, Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife, Sunita, personally visited PM Narendra Modi in Delhi and invited them to their son, Konark's wedding with Niyati Kanakia. He gracefully accepted the invite, but there is no confirmation about his presence at the event for now. Their picture holding the invitation with the PM has already gone viral. Apart from him, several who's who of Bollywood and the corporate world are expected to be a part of this star-studded wedding celebration.

Konark Gowariker is the elder son of Ashutosh Gowariker. He used to study at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai before he went to Boston's Emerson College. He pursued a degree in film direction and cinematography. Konark began his working journey by joining his father's production company as an AD. He has worked as an assistant director in Ashutosh Gowariker's popular films like Everest and Mohenjo Daro. Alongside, he co-produced Toolsidas Junior, starring Rajiv Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Moreover, he has also directed some ad commercials as he continues to follow his father's footsteps.
