After a long wait of three decades, Happy Gilmore 2 has been released on Netflix, which is nothing less than a dream-come-true for the loyal fans of the 1996, cultural comedy film. Fans are in for a treat as Adam Sandler is back in the long-awaited sequel as the hot-headed golfer, 'Happy Gilmore'. But when he gets to know that his daughter, 'Vienna', who has always dreamt of joining Ballet School in Paris, is in trouble, he decides to once again remove his clubs and get back to golf. However, apart from the mixed reviews, humour and heartwarming story, Happy Gilmore 2 is filled with a lot of nostalgic moments, surprise cameos, and hidden tributes. Did you miss them? We have listed some of the best Easter eggs from the film that you might have missed.

#1. Adam Sandler's family plays a major role in the film

It won't be wrong to say that Happy Gilmore 2 is a family film because we get to see the whole of Adam Sandler's family in one way or the other. His real wife, Jackie, and Adam Sandler's daughters, Sunny and Sadie, all appear in the film. Sunny plays the lead role of 'Happy's daughter, 'Vienna', while Jackie plays the role of her supportive dance teacher. On the other hand, Sadie brings a new twist to the plot as an undercover FBI agent in Adam Sandler's support group in the film. Things don't end here as the actor's brother-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, and even cousin play cameos in the film.

While 'Chubb's played a key role in 'Happy's journey to become a star golfer, he died in the film. The role was played by Carl Weathers, who was set to appear in the sequel but died at the age of 76. However, makers paid a wonderful tribute to his character by introducing his son, 'Slim', who has lost a hand just like his father. However, unlike his dad, he lost it due to a vending machine. Carrying the legacy of his dad, he lends a helping hand and becomes a major 'emotional support' for 'Happy' in his new journey.
