40 years old actress, Kishwer Merchantt is expecting her first baby with her husband, Suyyash Rai after four years of married life. Pregnancy had come as a surprise for Kishwer and Suyyash as the two were not planning for it. In fact, a few days before they had gotten to know about their pregnancy, Kishwer’s mother had asked her to freeze her eggs. Well, God had different plans for them.

Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had announced their first pregnancy on March 2, 2021. They had shared a picture from a beach with cute baby shoes on their IG handles. While Kishwer had written, "You can now stop asking, 'When are you guys gonna have a baby?' Coming soon... #august2021 #sukishkababy," Suyyash had captioned it as “Mai tere bacche ka baap banne wala hun, Kishwer! Coming this August."
Kishwer Merchantt is 7 months pregnant and the actress started preparing for her godh bharai rasam. Taking to her IG stories, mommy-to-be, Kishwer shared glimpses of the ongoing preparations. In one story, we can see a board with “Little one on the way Lets celebrate and shower #Sukishkababy” written and Kishwer and Suyyash’s picture pinned over it. The other story was a Boomerang of her chooda and she wrote, “Godh Bharai ki tayyari” followed by a heart emoticon atop it.
After staying at home for four months, Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai had gone for a staycation in Lonavala. The actress had shared a Vlog on her YouTube channel, recording her babymoon with her husband and furballs, Pablo and Batuk. From their road trip to their room tour, and Kishwer’s photoshoot session, the parents-to-be had recorded everything.

Kishwer has been sharing her pregnancy diaries on her social media handle, inspiring expecting women. On June 8, 2021, Kishwer had shared a pool-side picture on her IG handle, flaunting her baby bump and had talked about weight gain anxiety during pregnancy. She had written, "When I got pregnant I use to think omg I will put on so much weight. What will I do, will I ever be able to lose the weight again? I guess it happens to everyone."
Sharing how she had let go of all her fears because of the baby she is carrying within her, Kishwer had added, "But after a few days I stopped thinking all about it and embraced it. This is me now and I love myself coz I have you inside. And yes I know me, I will work hard and get back to how I was and you will be proud of Mommy #sukishkababy Love my new nickname by @suyyashrai GOLMATOL."
Kishwer has been documenting her pregnancy on her social media handles. When she was five months pregnant, Kishwer had visited her gynaecologist for a routine checkup and had shared a picture from the same on her IG stories. She had shared a picture from her ultrasound test, flaunting her baby bump.
