Kiran Bedi's Granddaughter Once Threw Questions At Her For Harassment On Dad, 'Ashamed..My Mom Hit'

Kiran Bedi is the first Indian woman to join the officer ranks in IPS. She was the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from May 28 2016 to February 16 2021. Kiran Bedi's journey is undoubtedly inspirational, and she is an idol to many. Talking about her personal life, Kiran got married to Brij Bedi in 1972. And three years later, they became parents to their daughter, Saina Bedi. Recently, Kiran made it to the headlines after reports claimed that an unauthorised investigation had shed light on the fact that Kiran had run a secret surveillance operation on her daughter back in 2003.

Kiran Bedi's granddaughter, Meher once dropped an explosive video while questioning the former

Amid Kiran Bedi trending all over the internet, another video resurfaced. This video was of Kiran Bedi's granddaughter, Meher Bharucha, the daughter of Saina Badi and Ruzbeh Bharucha. In the video, Meher shared her side of the story and questioned her grandmom. The video appeared to be a selfie video and was recorded in her room, wherein the little one revealed being happy while staying with her dad. In the clip, she addressed her mom, Saina Bedi, and stated that she doesn't want to live with her mom or her dad. She mentioned that she's ashamed to be the granddaughter of Kiran Bedi. Meher could be quoted as saying:

"I and Daddy don’t want to live with you. We want to be away from you. I am very ashamed to be the granddaughter of Dr Kiran Bedi."

Sharing more about it, Meher, in the video, revealed that she had contacted Kiran Bedi to chip in and help when her mom was hitting her dad with a chappal and spitting on him, but her nani refused to help, stating that she wouldn't get involved there as it was a matter between a husband and a wife. Meher questioned as she didn't help back then, why she had to come forward and use her police influence when she is happily living with her dad. She clarified that no one had kidnapped her, and asked her supporters to continue with their support. Meher, in the video, said:

"The only one that too. When I called and told you (Ms Kiran Bedi) that my mother is hitting my father with chappals, you said that it is between husband and wife. Nani, why are you using police influence now? Why?"

Kiran Bedi was questioned about this matter, and she, through, a WhatsApp text, revealed that the case was already closed, and as the court has served the notice, she herself asked Meher to take down the video. She further mentioned that she hadn't seen the order, but she was informed about the same. She stated that as the incident involved a child thus, commenting on it or writing about the same wouldn't be appropriate. She said:

"The matter is already closed. As the court has served a notice I believe to U tube and directed the child herself to bring it down by Tom. I have not seen the order. But am informed by the lawyer About this. As above. Hence there is no scope for any comments. Since it involves a child, matter is exceedingly sensitive. Talking about it or writing about it I am not sure whether it will be appropriate. At this stage."
