Shin Min Ah Stood By Kim Woo Bin As He Fought Cancer, Couple To Marry After 10 Years Of Dating

Korean stars, Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin, have recently announced their engagement. The pair has been in a relationship for more than 10 years now and has shown what an ideal, joyful romance feels like. It was on November 20, 2025, that their agency, named AM Entertainment, released an official statement stating that they had made the choice to get married and pledge the concept of eternal love to one another. According to a Bollywood Life report, the couple will get married on December 20, 2025, in the presence of their friends and family members.

According to a report by Sports Donga, Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin's agency shared an official note in which both have promised to be each other's companions, based on the deep trust they have built through their long relationship. The statement did not reveal many details but shared that the two will wed via a private ceremony. The wedding would take place in Seoul, and their union would not affect their careers. The agency asked their fans for their support and blessings to the pair who made the precious decision of their lives. Although, their love story is one of a kind.

Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin started dating in 2015

Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin, according to a report by The Indian Express, when filming a commercial in 2015, they announced their dating. They did their first ad together, and a source close to the couple told Soompi that they were positive and professional during the shoot. Despite having busy schedules, they took care of the staff during their break. Sparks flew, and slowly they started showing interest, and their agencies confirmed them to be in a relationship.

Fans were awestruck seeing the video of their favourite couple, Shin and Kim, on the big screen together. The agencies ensured that the couple was going strong as they released a statement saying that, despite both having hectic schedules, they were seeing each other. It was then, in March 2016, that Shin Min Ah sent a food truck to the sets of Uncontrollably Fond. The staff thought that Kim Woo-Bin had asked for the same and were confused about it.

Shin Min Ah did not leave Kim Woo Bin's side when he was diagnosed with cancer

The couple's agency has recently shared that both will continue to work diligently as actors and strive to repay the love shown to them by their fans, even after marriage. Well, it was in 2017 when their sea of fans were left in shock because Kim was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. Shin Min Ah released a statement saying she would help Kim undergo his treatment. His statement read:

"Kim Woo-bin recently noticed something abnormal about his body while he was in the midst of multiple schedules. When he went to the hospital to see what it was, he received a diagnosis for nasopharyngeal cancer."

Shin Min Ah was seen at the hospital with Kim Woo Bin during his fight with cancer and had also accompanied him in the hospital for his radiation therapy. A source close to the pair had told Cosmopolitan in an interview that many in the hospital sent encouragement and support to the pair, as both of them were seen smiling, even in the toughest of situations.

It was in 2020 when the agency of Shin Min confirmed that she and he have the same career and have been supporting one another. She hoped that Kim Woo Bin also did the same, and she has been cheering for his return after he fought with cancer. Kim on Shin's political drama called, Chief Of Staff had also sent a coffee truck with a banner written by him that read, "I support all the cast and crew of Chief Of Staff, especially Shin Min Ah."

Kim Woo Bin recently also confirmed catching a cold because of the cold weather, but he wanted to share with his fans about his marriage news with Shim Min Ah. He asked his fans how they were doing and stated that he was under the weather. His note, according to his agency, read:

"Hello everyone, this is Kim Woo Bin. Are you guys doing well? I hope you all don’t catch a cold due to the sudden cold weather we’ve been experiencing lately. I am writing this because I want to be the first to share the news with my fans, who have always shown me unwavering love and support despite my shortcomings. I am getting married. I will start a family with the person I have been with for a long time, and we will now walk together. Until we meet again, please always stay healthy and happy. I will return quickly. Thank you always. Woori Bins. Kim Woo Bin."
