Kiara Advani SLAMS IG Post For Claiming She Wants Daughter To Have Kareena's Quality, 'Kindly Stop'

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got blessed with a baby girl, and they have been busy taking care of her. While Sidharth is acting as a 'supporting actor' in taking care of the little angel, Kiara is being the hands-on mommy. But it seems like Kiara is fed up with social media for constantly using her old statement, wherein she said that she want in her daughter to have Kareena Kapoor Khan's qualities. To put an end to it, she called out a social media post.

For the unversed, Kiara and Sidharth embraced parenthood with the arrival of their baby girl on July 15, 2025. Later, a social media page shared a picture of Kiara and Kareena.  They pointed out that Kiara wants her daughter to have Kareena Kapoor's qualities. However, when the post reached Kiara, she slammed them and clarified that it was a statement from an old interview. Kiara's comment can be read as:

"This was said during the promotions of our film Good Newwz. Kindly stop putting old interviews out of context."

However, Kiara's comments received mixed reactions. Her fans wondered if celebrities say things just for saying, and they do not mean it. One user wrote, "Good to see her calling them out, but she does not want her daughter to have qualities like Kareena Kapoor now, or they just say things for the sake of it during promotions, like how their movie is the best, even though it turns out to be bad?"

A second user pointed out that the clarification from Kiara's end was not required, "Hahaha, Clarification ki zarurat hi nhi thi. It's understandable, but Iska's comment optics change kr rha." A third netizen wrote, "Matlab ab unhe kareena jaisa baccha nhi banana!!" A fourth netizen commented, "Kiara would want a girl like Kiara or her husband, Sid. Why would anyone want their kid to be like a random Bollywood weirdo? People need to understand that kids are precious and have an identity of their own, throwing random people and telling them to be like them is so messy and NOT classy."

What qualities of Kareena Kapoor Khan did Kiara Advani wanted in her daughter 

It is worth mentioning that Kiara gave this interview during the promotions of Good Newzz, the film which revolved around IVF treatment gone wrong and the ladies swapping babies. During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kiara was questioned if she would like her daughter to have Kareena's qualities, the actress agreed. She said:

"Her confidence, her expressions, her aura. All her qualities. She is a 10 on 10."

On July 16, 2025, Sidharth took to his Instagram handle to announce the arrival of his baby girl. He tagged his wife, Kiara Advani, in the post. In the adorable pink announcement card, we can see a pink heart balloon and a star. The couple expressed gratitude for how their lives have been changed with the arrival of their baby girl. It can be read as "Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl." Sidharth's ex-girlfriend, Alia also showered love on the announcement and 'liked' the post.
