Kiara Advani is one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation in Bollywood. The diva is known for her sartorial choices, acting spree, and gorgeous looks. Kiara is married to her longtime boyfriend, Sidharth Malhotra. Back in 2021, the duo graced the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12 to promote their film, Shershah. Kiara, who is an average singer, sang few lines of the song, Raatan Lambiyaan, during her stint on the show, but her performance made her a target of trolls.
Recently, Kiara Advani completed ten years in Bollywood, and she hosted a meet-and-greet session for her fans. The diva slipped into a white-hued pantsuit with a halterneck and a cutout detailing near the waist. During the interaction, one of the actress' fans asked her for some tips for starting a singing career. Responding to the same, Kiara recalled her stint on Indian Idol 12, for which she was massively trolled, and shared that it was too bad. She was heard saying:

"Guys, I went to Indian Idol Finale... Yes, it was so bad, I would never..."

Soon, a fan interrupted Kiara by saying, "No, it was not bad, it was pretty." Reacting to the compliment, Kiara thanked the fan and mentioned that they all love her and that's why they were saying it. However, she also revealed her husband, Sidharth's reaction to her performance on the stage and shared that the latter had praised her for having guts. Kiara added that she had no idea that her voice would go off tune while singing and said:
"Thanks, you all are real fans because gaane ke baad Sidharth has told me, 'You have guts. Grand Finale me tumne koshish kiya.' I said, 'Mujhe pata nahi that ki suddenly mera sur off ho jayega.' So I understand."
Being her sweetest self, Kiara Advani told her fan, who aspired to be a singer, not to get discouraged by her revelations. The actress mentioned that a person should always do things from their heart and forget everything else. She added that she just wanted to share the hilarious incident with all of them and said:

"But then the thing is do it from your heart and that's what matters, and you're anyway a good singer. I am not trying to discourage you, I just wanted to share the experience with you guys."

Soon after the video was shared on the internet, netizens were in awe of how beautifully Kiara Advani addressed the trolling for her Indian Idol performance. Reacting to the video, a user penned, "Well handled - acknowledgement, humor, acceptance, confidence, moving on." Another commented, "I love when celebs don’t take themselves too seriously it’s very refreshing. She also seems so sweet to her fans."
