Khushi Kapoor has been a part of the industry since the day she was born despite only having done one film so far. The young actress is the daughter of Boney Kapoor, and the late actress, Sridevi, is the sister of Janhvi Kapoor, making her a core part of the industry. However, in a conversation with Hindustan Times, the actress recently revealed that she is ready to find her own way in the entertainment industry.
During the conversation with HT, Khushi Kapoor addressed how people always try to pit actresses against each other. She shared how people try to make actresses feel insecure about another person. She admitted that everyone is good at different things and has their own space. Khushi continued and stated:
"I feel like people want actresses to feel insecure about another person. I feel like it's not necessary to pit everyone against each other. I'm sure other actresses are way better at certain things than I am, and I'm sure I also have some skills. We have to be secure enough to not think about these things and just have faith in ourselves."
In the same conversation, Khushi was asked how she managed to maintain a social media presence. The interviewer asked her how she entered a profession where social media holds so much importance despite being a shy person. Khushi responded by admitting that it is tough and her social media personality is a very small part of who she is. Elaborating on the same, she stated:
"I am quite protective of my life and my people, and I don't think I need to share everything all the time. If people like you and connect with you, then great, but I don't want to create a perception that's not me. So, social media is all Khushi, but it's a very filtered version of me."
The actress was further in the interview was asked what made her choose the film, Loveyapa. Khushi laughed in response and stated that she generally just asked her father, Boney Kapoor. However, for this film, she had a gut feeling, and she loved the director, Advaid Chandan's works. She further shared how when she did The Archies , her character was very reserved, exactly like how she was in real life, but in Loveyapa, her character 'Bani' was the absolute opposite of her, which helped her break from her shell and explore a different character and story. She also expressed her desire to be a versatile actor and how the film helped her find her voice.
When asked about being reserved and quiet, Khushi revealed that she is a people pleaser and, at most times, finds it very difficult to say no or speak up if she doesn't like something. The interviewer asked her how she handles the clash of opinions with her father, Boney, and sister, Janhvi. Khushi responded and stated:

"I feel like if we were to clash really hard over something, then I would take their advice over my instinct. At least right now, I feel like they have much more experience than I do. And luckily, we've not been in a situation where I've really liked or not liked something, and it was the opposite for them."
