Khushbu Sundar was born in a Muslim family in Mumbai, and in the 1980s, she started out as a child actor. The actress found her footing in South cinema and starred in many blockbuster movies. Khushbu often, in her interviews, has revealed not completing her education, and a while back, the actress and politician was not in the mood to be trolled on the same. Khushbu gave back to the troller who questioned her about whether she uses Chat GPT to make her tweets, as she has only studied till class 8.
Khushbu, a while back, took to X to slam a user who wrote, "Do you really know sarcastic tweets or using ChatGPT to frame this? lol we know your 8th grade." Her tweets were questioned related to her intelligence. This happened after Khushbu reportedly made a political tweet on X and the troller slammed her for using Chat GPT for making 'sarcastic tweets'. Khushbu, in a stern manner, replied:
“Intelligence is not about your academic report card results. Intelligence is about what life teaches you. Even a great Statesman like #Kamarajar couldn't continue his education beyond 4th grade brother. So relax, I don't need chatgpt to voice my thoughts."
The actress turned politician, related to her political note, mentioned that famous activist and politician, Kumaraswami Kamaraj, could not even complete education beyond grade four. For the unversed, Khushbu in many of her movies played the role of a strong, independent lady who was seen fighting the patriarchal system and also opposing the socio-cultural standards. Khushbu has been so famous that her fans in Tamil Nadu even created a temple in her name. Her fans have been fiercely loyal. Khushbu then did varied movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and also in Hindi. However, her fame in south has been unmatched.
For the unversed, Khushbu had gone to Swami Muktananda High School located in Mumbai. Her aim was to focus on acting rather than complete her education. She made her debut at the age of 10 in the 1980 movie called Burning Train. Khushbu then did movies such as Naseeb, Laawaris, Kaalia, Dard Ka Rishta, and Bemisal. It was in 1985 when, as an adult, Khushbu made her debut in the movie, Meri Jung and played the role of Anil Kapoor's sister. Once, in an interview with Mathrubhumi, she spoke about looking back at her journey and spoke on not completing her education. She shared:
"I enjoyed myself, there is not a moment of regret. The only thing is that I didn’t complete my education and even till today my principal says Nakhat you were a good student, you could have completed your schooling. So, the only regret that I have is that I had to drop out in the 9th standard."
Khushbu then did varied movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and also in Hindi. However, her fame in the South has been unmatched. Khushbu then got married to actor and filmmaker, Sundar C, back in 2000. They have been blessed with two daughters, Avantika and Anandita. It was in 2010 that she went into politics and was also seen in the Tamil movie, Nesippaya. The actress at the moment is active in the field of politics.
