Kenishaa Francis' Friend Reacts To Her Rumoured Relationship With Ravi Mohan, Says, 'I Just Want...'

Ravi Mohan and Kenishaa Francis have often been the face of rumours regarding their link-up buzz. However, those rumours were long laid to rest, until the duo set them ablaze by not just attending the wedding together but also twinning in traditional gold outfits on May 9, 2025. The pictures gave birth to a heated back and forth between Kenishaa and Ravi Mohan's ex-wife, Aarti and now the former's friend has reacted to the same.

Kenishaa Francis' friend breaks silence on the criticism the singer has been facing

Ravi Mohan and his rumoured girlfriend, Kenishaa Francis, made headlines with their appearance at producer, Ishari Ganesh's daughter's wedding in Chennai. However, the pictures didn't go down well with Ravi's ex-wife, Aarti, and she called him out for the same. Soon enough, Kenishaa was also dragged into their issues, and she faced massive backlash for their alleged relationship. Now, Kenishaa's friend, Vijayanthi Rajeswar, defended their relationship in an emotional post, which was re-shared by Kenishaa.

In her post, Vijayanthi revealed that despite how difficult these times have been, she has maintained her silence and asked her friend to stay silent as well. She added that she had known Kenishaa as an individual and even with Ravi Mohan. She further stressed how people had misunderstood her so much and stated:

"I’ve sat in silence and asked you to be silent over the last few days and I know how difficult these times have been. I’ve known you separately and I’ve known you together with my dearest Ravi anna. How misunderstood, how brutal and how vulgar the people can be is something I’ve witnessed in this ordeal."

In the same conversation, Vijayanthi revealed that Kenishaa was nothing like what people were projecting her to be. She added that sooner or later, the truth would come out, and people would understand how they were treating Kenishaa as extremely unjust. Kenishaa re-shared the post on her Instagram stories, writing, "You are powerful to say this, and I love you so much." Vijayanthi, in her supportive post for Kenishaa, was quoted as saying:

"I just want people to know that you aren’t what everyone claims you to be. You’re kind, dynamic, talented and most importantly, you’re true. The truth will come out someday. We know that. With your head held high, just be the way you are."

After Ravi and Kenishaa were spotted at the wedding, Aarti claimed that she was on the verge of losing her home. She revealed that Ravi had stopped supporting her and their sons financially and emotionally. She was quoted as saying:

"You can move on in gold silk. You can replace roles in your public life. But you cannot rewrite the truth."

It was in 2024 when Ravi Mohan announced his separation from his wife, Aarti, after 15 years of marriage. The couple shared two sons in their happily married life, but things went wrong at some point. Talking about the same, Ravi's now ex-wife said that the announcement completely blindsided her, and so were their kids. However, soon after, Ravi's name was linked to Kenishaa Francis. Once she was made aware of the talks, she candidly addressed the rumours regarding her link-up with Ravi. During an interview with DT Next, she admitted to her affair with the actor but revealed that there was no physical involvement. She even claimed that Ravi was being abused by his ex-wife, Aarti and her family.
