The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, is one of the most powerful and loved actors across the nation. Apart from his exceptional career in movies, his love for his family has always garnered a lot of attention. Amitabh Bachchan dotes on his family and never misses an opportunity to shower his love on them and express what they mean to him.
To mark International Women's Day 2021, Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his IG handle and had shared a collage to wish the women in his life. The collage had consisted of pictures of his late mother, Teji Bachchan, his wife, Jaya Bachchan, daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughters, Navya Naveli Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. Along with the picture, the veteran actor had written in Hindi, “Keh rahe hain aaj Women’s Day hai, Keval ek din? Na! Pratidin ‘Nari Diwas’”.

Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 13th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. In a clip from the latest episode, a contestant, Divya Sahay, told him that she is jealous of his bahurani, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. When Amitabh asked the contestant whether she watches movies, she replied that she loves watching movies. But Divya complains to him that she is jealous of Aishwarya.
Talking about the same, Divya said, "Ek baat hai, mujhe aapki bahurani se bahut jalan hoti hai. Sau saal mein koi ladki itni khoobsurat paida hui hai.” Amitabh thanked her, and Divya continued, “Lekin baaki heroineon se behtar toh main hi dikhti hu. Main kyu nahi heroine ban sakti?" Answering her, the versatile actor responded, "Kya pata, devi ji ke aaj ke baad ho jaye aisa kuch toh."

It was on April 20, 2007, when Aishwarya Rai had added Bachchan to her name as she had exchanged wedding vows with Abhishek Bachchan. In no time, even before the wedding, Aishwarya Rai became a vital part of the Bachchan family. On the season finale episode of Starry Nights 2.Oh!, Amitabh Bachchan was asked how the family dynamics had changed after Abhishek and Aishwarya's wedding. To which, Big B had retorted, "Nothing has changed for us, it was like one daughter left and another one came in."
In July 2020, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan were tested positive for COVID-19. After ten days, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were discharged from the hospital after testing negative. To express his happiness over the same, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a picture of Aishwarya and Aaradhya and had written, "Apni chhoti bitiya aur bahurani ko aspatal se mukti milne par, main rok na paaya apne aansoo. Prabhu teri kripa apaar, aprampaar."
