Katrina Kaif is very fond of her saasu maa, Veena Kaushal. Her husband, Vicky Kaushal, recently visited Prayagraj to be a part of the Maha Kumbh Mela. Following her husband's footsteps, Katrina now is also in Prayagraj, not with him but with her saasu maa, Veena Kaushal. Katrina was seen engaging in a discussion with Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati.

Katrina and Veena went together to Parmarth Niketan, where they met Swami Chidanand Saraswati at his ashram at the Maha Kumbh place. Katrina looked the prettiest in a peach-hued salwar kameez that had full sleeves. She went de-glam, left her tresses open and just wore a teeka on her forehead. Katrina's saasu maa, Veena looked stunning in a simple blue kurti and dupatta. She expressed her gratitude of visiting the holy place and told in an interview to ANI:

“I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy and the beauty and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here."

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji welcomed Katrina to Parmarth Niketan Mahakumbh Campsite. A part of Parmarth Niketan's Instagram page post can be read as:

She sweetly calls Veena 'mummy ji', who also takes care of Katrina's diet. The actress had once even shared of how she could not eat aloo parathas made by Veena as she was on a diet, so her mom-in-law made sweet potatoes.
