'It's A Horrible...' Kashmera Shah Breaks Silence On Govinda And Sunita Ahuja Divorce Buzz

Govinda and Sunita's separation buzz after 37 years of togetherness has left the entire nation in shock. The couple stuck together through thick and thin over the years, and never once did Sunita say something ill about Govinda. She kept mocking him, but never once did she point fingers at this character or pay heed to his linkup buzz. Now, Kashmera Shah, who had her own difference of opinion from her mami-saas, Sunita, reacted to the buzz.

Govinda and Sunita's separation news had even shaken the entire family. While Krushna rubbished the reports, Kashmera was left shocked. While talking to News18 Showsha, Kashmera stated that she knows nothing about their life, but she thinks it is a horrible rumour. She said:

"I don’t know anything about their life. But personally, I think it’s a horrible rumour."

Govinda's niece, Arti Singh also talked about her mama's divorce. She called it baseless rumours and stated that those are just sepculations and their bond is extremely strong. She stated that the couple has built a strong foundation and they can not get divorced. She said:

"I am honestly not in Mumbai right now so I haven’t got in touch with anybody. But let me tell you something, this is false news. These are just speculations because their bond is so strong. They have built a strong and loving relationship over the years so how can they get divorced?"

In an interview with HT City, Govinda's nephew, Krushna Abhishek also reacted to his mama's divorce buzz. He rubbished the ongoing buzz and denied the chatter continued. He was quoted as saying:

"This is not possible. They won't divorce."

Govinda and Sunita got married in March 1987. They have been together for almost 37 years. However, reports of their divorce made rounds on February 25, 2025. A source close to the couple revealed that Sunita wants to end her marriage with Govinda. She had even sent a separation notice, but there has been no movement on it since then. 

According to a report by ETimes, Govinda's manager admitted that there have been some issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain family members. The reports further added that they are trying to resolve the issue as Govinda's new film is being processed.

In another report by journalist Vickey Lalwani, it is Sunita Ahuja who wanted to dissolve the marriage, while Govinda wants to make it work. The superstar is also upset with his wife's abrupt decision to end their wedding. However, there is a buzz of a third person, but it might not be true.
